Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Searching for luxury stays in Hoi An, the Moire hotel came up at the top and I can completely verify its place as the nicest place to stay in the Ancient Town.
The Hotel: Situated beside the river and facing the ancient town, the hotel blends into the scenery of the old buildings and the surrounding area. It’s a short walk across the bridge to the heritage area and Hoi An’s magnificent streets of food and shops. The reception is modest but welcoming and the winding walkways that interconnect all of the rooms is charming.
The room: We booked a Deluxe River View room and I would highly recommend this is the best choice. Spacious yet modern in appearance, we had all the comforts that we needed to rest, relax and sleep well. There’s plenty of space to move around and store things and no chance of tripping over your loved one. Top marks go to the awesome bathroom with double sinks, a separate shower and a bath. But the highest score goes to the hooks for hanging towels as most hotels don’t provide this.
The river side rooms are peaceful and we found the gently sound of boats going past very charming. Both of us slept very well.
The facilities: We made use of the clean and fairly well equipped gym next to the pool. It was enough to cater for a wide range of workouts but if there’s more than 4 people it might get a bit cramped.
The restaurant was good in size and even arriving during the peak hours there was enough room for everyone. The food was very good quality and we were both loving the selection of fruits, bread and dairy.
The staff were all helpful and very nice, proving recommendations during our visit. Overall, I’m glad I chose the Moire as it ticked all the boxes of being a highly comfortable, relaxing stay in the beautiful location.
This hotel is truly beautiful, both in its exterior and interior design. The rooms are modern, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The staff members are friendly and highly attentive. The location is excellent, providing easy access to numerous wonderful restaurants and shops.
Had a fabulous experience at Breathe Spa at Moire Hotel. Booked a massage with Anh. Fantastic technique with firm pressure. An absolute must if you are looking to unwind and relieve muscle tension. My only regret was that I should have booked for 90 mins! Thank you Lisa and Anh.
A charming and authentic boutique hotel right on the riverfront, short 10 minute walk over the bridge to ancient town and all it has to offer. Extremely clean, excellent dining options including fabulous breakfast options. Wonderfully warm hospitality.
We had a lovely stay for three nights. I booked the stay through American Express’s hotel collection. It was comfortable and had a nice location.
We loved the pool area and took advantage of the complimentary bikes. It’s a stroll to old town and the hotel offers a nice view of old town and the lantern boats.
The staff is a full 5 stars! Very helpful and attentive. Tien at breakfast and dinner always made sure we had whatever we needed!
My only issue with the stay was the food at times. I’ve spoken with the hotel to address the issues we had. They were professional in hearing out the issue and addressing it. Breakfast was amazing 2 of our 3 mornings!
Don’t miss the Vietnamese coffee class! Very informative and I was able to purchase the apparatus there too!
All in all a great stay!
