Terrible counter service
am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received from the reception team during my stay. As a long-time loyal customer of the Accor Group, I have always trusted the brand for its high standards of hospitality. Unfortunately, this experience has made me seriously reconsider staying at Accor properties in the future.
I arrived at approximately 10:00 PM with my family, having booked two rooms. Prior to arrival, I had requested connecting rooms. I fully understand that connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, especially when the hotel is operating at high occupancy. However, while I was waiting at reception, I observed the staff assigning connecting rooms to another group of guests who appeared to be friends rather than a family. I have no objection to other guests receiving connecting rooms, but it raised the question of whether the rooms originally allocated to my reservation had been reassigned to someone else.
The situation was made worse by the handling of my check-in by Ms. Benz and Mr. Mac at the reception. I had two separate reservations, and the reception team was unable to locate the second booking. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was told—while the staff were laughing—that there was no manager available and that they would try calling him, but he might not answer. I found this response highly unprofessional and certainly not representative of the service standards I expect from Accor, a leading international hospitality company.
In addition, the room itself had a strong moldy smell and an unpleasant odor, which made the stay even more disappointing.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the customer service issues and the condition of the rooms to ensure future guests receive the level of hospitality that Accor is known for

Good location and friendly staff. Special thanks to Austin and reception who went above and beyond my expectations. Been all around the world staying at 4 and 5 stars hotel and have to say the staff was up to par. Well done and see you again on my next holiday.

Exceptional
Stayed at Mercure Phuket Patong Journeyhub in the Classic Room and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a great location near Patong Beach, Bangla Road, restaurants, and shopping areas while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. The Classic Room was clean, modern, comfortable, and well maintained with a very cosy bed and great amenities.
The rooftop swimming pool and bar were highlights of the stay, perfect for relaxing after exploring Phuket. Staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful throughout check-in and the entire stay. If you are looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel in Patong Phuket with great service and convenient access to nightlife and the beach, I would definitely recommend Mercure Phuket Patong Journeyhub. Great value for couples, solo travellers, and holiday stays in Phuket.
Reasonable Stay Quality
It's a classic city hotel with room options (with a view, balcony or hillside etc.). Our room was without balcony or a view but we hardly stayed at room except sleep hours. Housekeeping is a bit rude, reception staff selectively ok. Best part was very helpful restuarant staff (Mukesh and team), Indian food was included in resturant menu. They however charge 7% tax and 10% service charge which make hotel dining a bit expensive. It is better to eat at restaurants on beach front Royal Kitchen, Amritsr etc.) to get better value. Overall Thiland hospitality has lost quality w.r.t. other tourist destinations. Rudeness felt with local taxies, tuk-tuk, 7-11 stores, tourist spots and snacks counters at centers like Tiger Kingdom. Tour operators to Phi-Phi, Maya Bay, 7-Islands gave better treatment and took good care.
Good hotel and amazing service☺️
The hotel in Patong is very nice and provides a wonderful vacation experience. The staff are attentive and offer excellent service making guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay. The poolside area is beautiful, and the view is truly amazing. Overall it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a memorable holiday Thank you so much all of you to make our wonderfull day we will comeback again.
