Grand Mercure Phuket Patong

Where do I start? We left yesterday and we are already missing this place. We arrived a week ago with our teenage children (15 & 18). We had the Poolside rooms and I don’t think I could ever go back to a ‘normal’ room again! These rooms were the absolute best and worth the money-being able to have your own lounges and semi private part of the pool each day was a highlight. It really made us relax. Here is a few to mention: Breakfast-Cannot fault this. A HUGE range of options and everything was so fresh. Gluten free options helped my coeliac daughter. Lunch and Dinner-We ate numerous times at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The food was amazing. They have a separate gluten free menu which my daughter could eat from. The Friday night buffet is a highlight but book early to avoid missing out. Staff-I can’t even mention one or two because they are all so professional and friendly. We did not come across a bad staff member. They are polite, friendly, funny, and extremely professional. Well done to you all. It is a credit to your business. The staff that cleaned our room each day had fantastic attention to detail and very thorough with their cleaning. Accor club- we are Accor club members and having access to the Grand Club during the day meant we could drop in for a quick snack if we were heading out for a few hours. It has a wide range and was great for a nice cuppa or cold drink with a snack. Sometimes we question if we are getting enough from our Accor card but after this holiday it is definitely worth having. They really made us feel like we were valued as members. Site- the site is close enough to everything. Junceylon is a quick walk, along with markets and shopping. The range of activities at the resort is great and so is the bar and food options.

They made us feel very special as this trip was to mark a special wedding anniversary,along with special birthday’s for the kids. Well done Grand Mercure Patong. We’ve stayed at many Accor accommodations and this one rates very high on our list!!!!!

Her excellent knowledge of the hotel, Phuket, local attractions, and recommendations was incredibly helpful and made our entire experience much easier and more enjoyable.
