A short stroll from Patong Beach on a secluded and lush beachfront headland, the luxurious Amari Phuket offers direct beach access and spectacular views of the Andaman Sea. The sprawling hillside resort offers three outdoor pools, Breeze Spa, two restaurants, two bars and a series of private lookouts ideal for intimate gatherings and meals with that special someone.
Located near all the convenience and buzz of Patong, the tranquil resort is a short walk from Jungceylon Mall. Complimentary shuttle service to nearby Kata Beach is offered. Phuket International Airport is a 55-minute drive away.
Accommodations are offered in two distinct settings. The Superior and Deluxe Wings are closer to the coast with rooms and suites that are a short hop from the lobby, restaurants and facilities. The newer Ocean Wing offers an elevated experience with larger residence-style one and two bedroom suites perched on the hillside and exclusive access to a hilltop Clubhouse with its dedicated full-service lounge, pool, terrace and fitness centre.
Breeze Spa features a wide range of treatments which can be enjoyed from breezy, sea-facing pavilions. The resort also offers a fitness centre, scuba-diving centre, kids' club and a Voyager Lounge, a perfect relaxation spot for those arriving early or waiting for a late flight.
La Gritta focuses on Italian specialties such as gourmet pizzas, fresh pasta, delectable desserts along with an extensive wine list. Seaside international dining is available at Rim Talay. Drinks and quick bites are served at both the Rim Talay Pool Bar, Samutr Bars and The Jetty.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A 9 night stay at the Amari Phuket resort with family (2 children aged 6 and 4) and we still wanted more. The staff are attentive and always knew who we were. Club Pakarang (clubhouse) is a lovely addition too with complimentary drinks and snacks as part of your club room.
The rooms were spacious enough for us (1 bedroom suite) and were neat with good amenities. The hotel rooms are on a hill so a buggy is the ideal way to travel, however they do have stairs and is not to much of a bother even with small children. The buggy service is good but can be a tad slow at busy times, but nothing to be too concerned about.
The food options are vast, including Halal and vegetarian including Thai, Indian and Western cuisines. We regularly had room service and food was genuinely delicious. Furthermore the concierge team are Fantastic, as they’d bring your food from Grab (UberEats equivalent) to your room; not many hotels do this.
The overall service provided by all the staff at Amari Phuket is 10/10 and we were sad to leave.
A very big thank you to Jibci (Guest Relations Manager), Ploy Ms Ari, Betty, Senior Chef Ryan and Executive Sous Chef Suchet Sangmuang and all the front of house and housekeeping team for making our stay an unforgettable one.
Dear General Manager,
Our recent three-day stay at Amari Phuket in the 2-bedroom ocean suite was nothing short of extraordinary. The exemplary facilities, the warmth and professionalism of your team, and the breathtaking location with its stunning vistas combined to create an unforgettable experience.
We feel compelled to sing the praises of the lounge team, whose attentiveness and genuine hospitality were truly extraordinary. Boom, Ying, Nan, Bubu, and Aud stood out as shining jewels of your resort, their heartfelt care and dedication leaving a lasting impression that made us reluctant to depart.
We eagerly waiting to be return in the near future.

This is the worst hotel, least to say standards are extremely low. Doesn’t look like an Amari doesn’t feel like Amari and management definitely doesn’t behave like Amari standard. Bathrooms are never cleaned. Hygiene is negative. Food is a big big problem. There is nothing for vegetarian. Food Taste is not good. But this is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is the buggy service to the room. It is extremely inefficient. The buggy never reaches in time to your room to pick you up either to the lobby or to the breakfast Buffett. People que up to Wait for 10 to 15 minutes at a time.. when you reach out to the management people at the reception are extremely rude …yesterday night when I came back from the market, I waited 15 minutes, just to get one buggy, and I was standing in the heat with a small child After I called multiple times, I was sent a buggy… when I called a lady called Sandy She said this is normal and she was extremely unresponsive to this. I find it very rude.
People who have very old family members or infants using buggies or prams should not use this hotel, walks are very long to the lobby, and if you dont get a buggy in time, it’s very difficult to wait outside in the heat.
For vegetarian, there are no food options… for people who care a lot about hygiene should not take this hotel. It’s very dirty. It’s not clean. Water is not refilled. Bathroom toiletries are not refurbished.
This is my second review. I had reviewed this hotel when I came because I was very disappointed The person at the reception met me and promised me.everything would be taken care of and she made me delete my first review.
Our third time at Amari staying in the Club Pakarang rooms. Beautiful views and location. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Excellent pools and restaurants. La Gritta is amazing and the service is excellent We will be ba k again next year
My husband and I stayed at the Amari Phuket in the Club Suites, the location is absolutely beautiful, very close walk to anything and everything, looks like a distance but is actually very short walk, we had access to the "Club" restaurant, the Happy Hour was great the breakfast was also great. "Mimi" and SAO" were amazing, they treated us very well. The Italian Restaurant was amazing ate there, probably 8 out of 11 nights, I am Gluten Free (not by choice) and they were very accommodating, I always had wonderful food, from pasta, pizza and hot made GF bread every time we went. The Pork Chop was the most amazing meal I had during our stay, weird as I'm not really a pork chop girl, lol. Everything is top notch. The night guard (didn't get his name) was so so wonderful, he was always so friendly and always knew who we were. Our cleaning person was great, she always did a wonderful job. Everyone was great, would 100% recommend, and would go back in a heart beat. Our room was wonderful, it had a fridge and freezer that would actually keep cold and actually made ice. I could complain about the room above us, but it was only because they wanted to rearrange their furniture daily it seemed, lol, very loud and annoying but livable.
