Our home from home heaven on earth!
What can we say!! This place is our second home and not only is it heaven on earth but it is the place we will never stop visiting. For our 10 year old, this is a second home with staff who are so talented and so kind that we feel like family. The hotel and room were exquisite as always and the manager Peter is doing an absolutely phenomenal job! Always attentive and willing to do anything he can at any point. Thank you so much Peter for everything, This hotel is simply one of a kind, like stepping into a funky and stylish, industrial themed rain forest, with attention to detail like no other hotel we have ever experienced. On the hotels art walk, thanks to Pui and Fon, we were still spotting things we had not yet encountered 18 years on! These ladies are so knowledgable! We would like to say some special thank yous to the hotel’s heroes: to Ian at the pool for making every day comfortable - never ever was our water glass empty! Phenomenal service! To Ewe at sports bar- excelled manners and secure - a true angel in the bar! Pui, Fon and Mimi our daughter’s second mums at kids club. This kids club is unmatched by any other and our daughter will probably come here for life - maybe even as a helper one day. Pui you do the most amazing job of managing kids club!! Thank you so everything - we miss you every day! A million thank yous to Keman for his dedication to making sure my husband’s archery was on point, for keeping my daughter happy in the water ball and for making us happy every day. You are a true legend! We miss you! The tin mine is fabulous in terms of food and service! Thank you Chung for always having a smile on your face and for looking after our daughter with your warm heart. Thank you Tan for making breakfast so enjoyable and smiling at us everyday - these things never go unnoticed. Thank you Sue for being such a role model to everything in Tin Mine - excellent service! A special thank yous to Fah in Rebar for her wonderful service and for checking in on me after experiencing loss. I will never forget your compassion! The whole team go above and beyond every single day. Chocco thank you for your knowledge and for sharing your wisdom with us - we value your opinions on trips and experiencing Phuket to its fullest. This hotel will always have a piece of our hearts. Keep being amazing and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything and of course, see you next year!!
Above and beyond
Location was beautiful just like the local people that live and work there. Total respect to everyone I talked to. The atmosphere is relaxing and very welcoming. The rooms are so beautiful and well maintained by the housekeeping team ❤️ and maintenance team. Coming from the hotel industry, I could see how hard they work for the best guest experience. The sounds from the frogs outside at night was so good to listen to but the hotel in general is extremely quiet. Great value for the money with every night having a good night sleep. The staff are outstanding so please respect them and be kind. You will love it and we can't wait to return. Thank you Claude and all your amazing team.

A Truly Memorable Stay
Everything was wonderful throughout our stay. We were truly impressed by the excellent service, comfortable room, delicious food, and beautiful overall atmosphere of the hotel.
We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Khun Nui from the Housekeeping team for her attention to detail and for always ensuring that our room was spotlessly clean and well taken care of.
A special thank you also goes to Khun Sue from the breakfast restaurant for her thoughtfulness, attentiveness to our needs, and consistently outstanding service.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a memorable and enjoyable experience. We truly appreciated everything!

The Slate hotel is a 5 star +++. We loved every minute of our stay. The Pearl suite was beautiful so big, room to spread out with luxury amenities, designer touches. The grounds of the resort where lush & calming. The restaurants were excellent the service was impeccable. The location across from the beach and village was great for different options of having a swim in the ocean we loved, and the little restaurants along the beach we enjoyed. 10 minutes from the airport was so convenient. I cant fault anything about The Slate and will be returning.

A real treasure of hotel in phuket!
If you are a looking for a place to stay away from the crowds The Slate is your place to be. you can reach Phuket old Town within 20-40 minutes and also Khao Lak and other destinations is rechable.
- lush greenery even there are lots of rooms it never gives you the feeling of being crowded
- an extensive breakfast buffet, that doesn't leave any wishes open
- a wonderful design by Bill Bensley and yes the decor has to look like its been used allready
- spacious clean rooms
- it's close to the airport, but very quite. perfect to recharge some days before heading home.
The housekeeping team goes above and beyond to make your stay worth while. when they realised we bought water from 7/11 they provided us with more water bottels daily free of charge.
Also the breakfast team surprised us with knowing our preferred seating area and our standard coffee order.
We will defenitely come back
