Centara Kata Resort is a modern style hotel on the beautiful island of Phuket. It enjoys stunning views of the surroundings and rolling hills in the backdrop. Just 600 metres away from the white sands and shallow waters of Kata Beach, it is within easy walking distance and on the way, you will find a string of shops, bars and restaurants.
The Facilities at Centara Kata Resort:
The resort offers three swimming pools, one complete with a waterslide, jacuzzi and swim up pool bar. There is also a separate children's pool for the little ones to splash around. If you feel like venturing outside the hotel then a tour desk is available providing the chance to book a range of activities including island hopping, snorkelling and family-friendly treks.
With two restaurants, in room dining, and two pool bars - you are not short of places to refuel. The main restaurant specialises in international and Thai cuisine, whilst the bars offer snacks throughout the day, a range of soft drinks and cocktails.

Guestrooms are designed with comfort in mind and feature a large living space including a balcony or terrace. The rooms can be made up of a king size or twin beds. Exceptional staff!!
Amazing place location wise and the place in general has a rlly cool vibe 3 lovely pools swim up bar good rooms and most of all the staff are incredible. Breakfast buffet is also excellent aswell as there lovely restaurants and cocktails. Would go again.

Great location and close to the beach
We are so happy here. The service is fantastic and the staff KLA , PEN , AOY , are so helpful and polite. They go out of their way to assist. The range and quality of breakfast food with CHEF NGEK is the best we have experienced in our frequent travels. Last night we had the inhouse Indonesian buffet. What an amazing and delicious assortment of food and the night included a magnificent floor show with Thai dancers and drummers The reception manager JEZZY is so delightful and just so willing to assist with our every need DOUBLE THE 5 STARS FOR SURE 10 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Lynda & Tony

Good Value overall and kids friendly with lovely staff
Good value however hotel is a little tired. Coffee in the mornings was made from powdered milk. Charge 20thb a game for a very tired pool table - on a wet day this could have been a better experience. Quality of breakfast was less quality than other Centara Hotel Hua Hin and Beach Resort Karon. Lovely staff and great location for Kata beach only a 10 min walk up the road
Very old facilities and not commended
Hotel room very outdated, no lift, very old everywhere, breakfast is very dark, lots of mosquitoes everywhere(been to other hotels with similar jungle view, but this one is exceptionally bad, it is also linked with cleanness in general in hotel), towels very old, don’t absorb water. This hotel is in general very ran down. It doesn’t match 4 star hotel standard. Kids club is not clean, lots of dusts everywhere. Kids club’s facilities are also outdated. Very limited activities, like 1-2 hours per day for kid. Other activities listed on kids club are misleading as they are not for kids and parents must take their kids to the pool to do those activities themselves, this is nothing to do with the kids club. You can’t leave your kids there for more than 1 hour, they shouldn’t call this a kids club but a very outdated kids play room, with 1 hour supervision for the kid to watch a film by the kid. though we paid two nights there.
Though we paid for 2 nights, the experience was so bad that that we left after 1 night - we found another hotel with same price on same street with much better pool, room, environment facilities. It is unbelievable that we call Centara Kata a four start hotel.
