My Beach Resort Phuket

We had such a wonderful experience staying at My Beach Resort. The resort has absolutely beautiful views, especially if you love watching the sunset. The scenery is truly stunning and made our stay even more special.

But what really stood out to us was the amazing staff and the warm hospitality we received throughout our stay.

A special thank you to the FB team, especially Khun Phat, the Chef de Partie, he was incredibly amazingly friendly and even helped look after our child at times and the lovely waitresses, Khun Nam and Khun Duean. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

We would also like to give a special mention to FB manager, who was incredibly kind and caring. We truly appreciated how welcoming and thoughtful she was towards our family.

Another big thank you to Vicky from the Front Office. We had a late flight and asked if we could have a late check-out. Vicky was incredibly understanding and flexible with our situation. She was so kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely understanding. Her willingness to help made a big difference to us.

And of course, thank you to Ameen, our bellman/driver, who was always friendly, kind, approachable, and welcoming. He made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.

Overall, what made My Beach Resort special for us was not only the beautiful location and breathtaking sunset views, but also the wonderful people who took such great care of us. Their kindness, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and at home.

I booked this trip in early September with one simple intention: to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with a friend who has been working long hours. My Beach Resort Phuket turned out to be the perfect choice.

A beautiful boutique resort with a stunning ocean view

Upon arrival, I was genuinely impressed. My Beach Resort is a modern, well-designed boutique resort, exactly the kind of property I appreciate these days.

I booked a Premier Sea View Studio on the third floor, and the unobstructed ocean view was simply beautiful. The room was spacious, with a large king bed facing the balcony and the ocean beyond. Waking up to that view and spending quiet moments overlooking the sea became some of my most treasured memories of this stay.

The resort is surrounded by green hills, giving it a wonderful sense of tranquillity and fresh air. Facilities include swimming pools overlooking the ocean, a simple gym, an all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a beach bar where I happily spent quite a bit of time — and money!

Breakfast worth waking up for

The buffet breakfast deserves a special mention. I usually have little appetite in the morning and tend to settle for coffee and perhaps a piece of bread. But here, I found myself eating much more than usual! The spread was lovely, with a good selection of Western favourites and local Thai dishes. Compliments to the chef and the entire F&B team for starting each morning on such a delicious note.

Above all, it is the people who make the difference.

A beautiful property is one thing, but a genuinely caring team is what makes a stay memorable. And this is where My Beach Resort truly won me over.

Reservations — Khun Anna and Khun Si

Thank you for handling my room booking, spa arrangements, and airport transfers so professionally. Our conversations made me feel genuinely valued, almost like a VIP. That personal touch meant a great deal to me.

I was also told that the General Manager had personally checked on my room status and arrival arrangements. That is exactly the kind of hands-on leadership I appreciate in a premium boutique property. With fewer than 80 rooms, there is a wonderful opportunity to know your guests and pay attention to the little details. It was reassuring to see that this philosophy was reflected in the team’s service.

Airport transfer and Front Office team

The airport pick-up was punctual, and our names were clearly displayed on the signboard when we arrived. A great start to the holiday, even though I didn’t catch the driver’s name.

To the Front Office team, you guys are fantastic! Always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. Thank you as well for the complimentary late check-out at 4 pm. It allowed us to enjoy our final day without feeling rushed.

After receiving the complimentary 4 pm late check-out, I told my travelling buddy that we should spend more at the resort — enjoy a spa treatment, have more drinks, and make the most of our time there. Why not, when the team had been so kind and welcoming to us?

I believe in karma, and kindness deserves to be returned.

Housekeeping — Jean, Meaw and the team

Thank you for keeping our room so clean, neat, and tidy every day. A special mention to Meaw, who took such good care of our room. The extra bottles of drinking water were also much appreciated in Phuket’s hot weather. These thoughtful little gestures do not go unnoticed!

Beach Bar — Nat and Boom

You both looked after us so well! And of course, thank you for introducing us to the twice-daily happy hour promotion — buy one, get one free. Who could resist such a great deal, especially someone like me who enjoys a drink or two?

Restaurant, F&B and Kitchen teams

Thank you for the warm smiles, friendly greetings, attentive service, and hard work throughout breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant. I noticed how diligently everyone worked to clear tables, replenish the buffet, and ensure guests were well looked after. Your efforts contribute so much to the overall experience.

A final note from someone who works in hospitality

I booked this stay through an OTA, yet the team made me feel just as welcome and valued as any direct-booking guest. That speaks volumes about the resort’s service culture. Every guest deserves the same warmth, care, and attention, regardless of how the reservation was made.

Having worked in hospitality for many years, I tend to notice the details. It’s in my blood! I can genuinely appreciate a good product, but even more so, a hardworking, diligent team that takes pride in what they do.

My Beach Resort, you have won my heart. Thank you for making this short getaway so memorable. I will certainly book directly with you on my next Phuket trip. With Phuket just a short flight away, there is every reason to return!

Perhaps next time, I’ll bring two good friends from Bangkok along to share the experience.
