I really enjoyed Patrick's courteous service.
Lovely experience and the overall ambience was so serene. Beachfront view was also amazing. We had a photoshoot and the pictures came out lovely. Very helpful staff willing to help in all areas.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is great, I love my pool villa with an amazing view and the staff is very friendly. But many things are not as they should be for that price point ($2,500 for 3 nights) and definitely not at the same level as at the nearby Six Senses which I visited a few years ago. The staff in general is great. Very warm and friendly. I want to mention particularly Sun the fitness / Thai boxing trainer who gave me an amazing Thai boxing class (it was free). Great guy. Some member of staff though clearly need training (like how to open a bottle of wine). Generally I think the hotel could use a bit more attention to detail and focus on maintenance. The interior of my villa is quite worn. I don’t mind that the wood and furniture appears not new. But that the soft furnishings have holes in them and are visibly dirty is not acceptable. Also the wooden decking around the private pool has a lot of rusty nails sticking out. It is clear that nobody from management has inspected my villa in a long time. For such a price I find this quite astonishing. Food: the breakfast is very nice; the in-room dining is mediocre (Pad Thai and mango sticky rice) and you should avoid the food at the Woo Bar (tuna and burger). I had a lot of small things gone wrong during my first day (messed up car pick up, food waste spilled by someone in front of my door and not cleaned up despite me raising it etc.) that shows that there is a lack of attention to detail pointing to potential issues with management. So come here for the view and warm people, but don’t expect perfection and a real luxury experience and if you can afford the SixSenses next door then go there.
