A wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay with our family and felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Blue was very helpful with our check-in. We receive a beautiful lotus flower as a welcome gift. Nani also showed us how to fold a lotus flower, which was really nice.
The room was beautiful and clean. We also really enjoyed our dinner at Saffron. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Thank you to Ocha for taking some lovely photos for us, and to Luna for taking care of us and recommending some delicious dishes. Diamond and the rest of the team also provided great service!
Abby and Latin made our check-out smooth and easy. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
Absolute Perfection! The Best Spa Experience in Thailand
Having visited numerous luxury spas across Thailand—including Panpuri, Thann, and Divana—our 60-minute session at Banyan Tree Spa today set a whole new benchmark. It was hands down the absolute best massage experience we have ever had in the country.
I took the full-body Thai stretch massage with Charlene, and her expertise was simply phenomenal. She possessed remarkable intuition for tension points, combining pressure and therapeutic stretching seamlessly to leave me feeling completely restored and weightless. My wife was cared for by Ja, who was equally extraordinary. Ja’s gentle yet precise technique provided pure relaxation and deep rejuvenation—my wife couldn't stop raving about how wonderful and well-balanced her treatment was.
May is very kind host to take care of us! She is very very sweet! ❤️
From the tranquil atmosphere and flawless hospitality to the unmatched skill of Charlene and Ja, Banyan Tree Spa is truly in a league of its own. Exceptional in every sense. We cannot wait to return!

Banyan Tree Samui Exceeded Our Expectations!
We luv’d this resort! For the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Every team member we met was kind, helpful & accommodating. Our villa (complete with private dipping pool); spa, rain forest room, gym & beach facilities are all beautifully appointed and pristine. The food and services at all 3 restaurants was excellent & well-priced. The breakfast in particular was outstanding in terms of variety and quality (including a large selection of fresh fruits, local specialties, green juices, eggs to order, etc.). My husband and I both enjoyed Thai Massages and can highly recommend practitioners Lek and Massy. Abby, our Concierge also helped to make our stay hassle-free and totally enjoyable. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing get-away in a stunning Thai setting.
Family vacation with 5
Nice family vacation in Samui, travelling 2 adults and 3 older kids (11,13,17 years old). Picked up in the cute small airport by the hotel and driven about 30 mins to the resort. We were in F03 on the hill side across the reception with a nice view, the villa was very comfortable for us, however showing a bit of age - will highlight the pool and hot tub, beautiful, and what a nice morning swim at sunrise. Expect a bit hassle being driven around the resort in buggys, but you can enjoy the nicely maintained grounds and we did not experience much waiting time. We did not see a lot of animals or bugs within the resort, but was annoyed a bit with mosquitos. We experienced the Thai boxing training near the gym, a lot of fun for the kids. We also really liked the main pool area, great spot to sunbathe and very nice service. The beach was a bit of a let down, sand was grainy, but worse the water felt dirty and not transparent. Also some trash floating around. We had a nice kayak and stand-up paddle trip - amazing look a the resort from the sea. Food. Amazing food a the Thai restaurant, wow, a must try. The beach restaurant was fine, the room service meal only ok. Breakfast was great, stunning views, large selection. A bit hot outside, the parasols did not provide sufficient protection from the sun. Only let down was the coffee, at this level I would hope for barista level, here it was machine at decent level. General stand-out was the service level here, living up to the exception and we had a great vacation in Samui.

Nice Resort
When we arrived check in , was a little bit confusing and and little bumpy the manager on duty quickly addressed the issue and apologise , very nice reception area and stunning lobby area open looking the resort . We stayed there for five days. The staff are very friendly and helpful in all the areas of the resort . When we got to our villa it was not what we paid for. There was some kind of mixup with my company who I book all my holidays with which they did it investigation and apologised to me and refunded $1000 Australian. and gave me $200 dollar voucher. this is the first time this has happened to me as I travel twice a year overseas. but overall the resort is very nice the beach is very nice too , but a little out dated around there just needs a little bit of maintenance and a bit of love in that area . We ate most days for lunch or dinner there, the staff are extremely friendly and service is very good , but had little issue one night at dinner when they serve me a risotto was undercooked and the salmon fillet was extremely dry , but the supervisor apologise and asked would you like another meal. The end of the night they took all the meals off the food bill so we only paid for the drinks so that was a nice thing they did . Did not go to the pool as it’s very nice there but it’s sort of not connected with the beach and the restaurant there. It’s a bit isolated so we mostly stayed around the beach area for five days. buffet breakfast is extremely beautiful overlooking the resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downfall is the coffee at the breakfast is not good. If you want a nice coffee you have to go to the lobby and pay for it. So I never had coffee at breakfast was not up to my standards. But overall we had a very nice time there.
