Royal Muang Samui Villas

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights after visiting Bangkok and Chiang Mai, for the relaxing leg of our Thailand holiday. We had a two bedroom garden view suite with a private pool on the second floor and everything about it was incredible. If your budget allows, I would wholeheartedly recommend you book this style room. The private pool is a decent size and not just a paddling pool! Ample towels, toiletries and loan of a lovely beach bag all on offer ( available to buy from reception which I did!). The grounds are well maintained, very lush and green. The breakfast choices and quality of what is on offer are fantastic. The area where the food is can get a little congested during busy times. Staff so kind and helpful. Lots of dining and massage options along the beach front and on the main road outside the hotel with a 7-Eleven across the road. We only ate in the hotel once, we had lunch on the day we arrived for sheer convenience and it was nice but expensive. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the gym - it is not very good, small, with old equipment and the air con doesn’t work properly. However, there is a brand new and huge gym being installed in the basement of reception next to the shower room which we found on the day of our departure, I wonder if this is going to be for resident and non resident use? It did look nearly finished. Overall a fantastic stay and I would return in a heartbeat.

Me and my family had a great time at royal muang villas. It was definitely the chill part of our holiday having been to Bangkok and Chiang Mai first.

The room was big enough for four of us and had a decent sized private pool which was nicely shaded.

The hotel is really well located having the beach just 2 minute walk from our room and the main pool being on the way - plenty of options for keeping cool.

There are lots of good food options along the beachfront, Pi being particularly good.

The hotel breakfast is pretty good with a range of thai foods available as well as some European options.

The pool was the best out of the holiday and we really enjoyed going to the beach and going in the sea, playing in the sand and of corse tanning so thank you for giving us a holiday of a lifetime!❤️

We arrived in June and we were blown away by our room which was downstairs and had a huge pool. There was 3 of us and we had so much room so spacious. I loved the old Thai style of the room, the air con was great, housekeeping spot on everything about our accommodation was wonderful. If you are like me and love the sea this is your place, the beach is magnificent, you can literally walk into the water, its clear and calm, the sand is soft - pure heaven. The swimming pool is fabulous as there are various places to sunbathe which was so good for us as the weather was boiling so we just cooled down in the pool or sea. The staff so kind, nothing was ever too much trouble, its was our sons birthday while we were there and they left a lovely cake and decorated his bed which was a lovely surprise for him. Breakfast was good, not a great selection and where the food was was quite a small space but still lovely. The Spa is in a cave - quite an experience. I had a couple of massages and I floated out. The only things I think could be better are the sun beds as they are so uncomfortable and the treatment beds in the spa. They look quite old - Please get new beds it would make the massages feel more comfortable. Outside the hotel is really good as there are 7 -11l's, Restaurants, bars, pharmacy etc, Fishermans Village is very close and Chewang about 20mins. In a nutshell, beautiful hotel, stunning beach and great location. We will be back next June for sure and I am already telling my clients about how fab the hotel is.
