Vana Belle Koh Samui

My husband and I just left after a week-long stay at the Vanabelle and we were extremely impressed by this resort. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and our villa made me feel like I was tucked away in the jungle but with a gorgeous ocean view. The beach is clean and uncrowded and there are ample seating and sunbathing options by both the pool and the beach. They also offered nights with live music, a seafood market night by the beach, and several other themed events during our stay.

I really felt this was the perfect sized resort. It never feels crowded but it also has a good energy abuzz. If you like absolute privacy you can also retreat to your private villa or room but we often preferred spending time in the common spaces. They also always offer to take you around the resort in the buggy (golf cart) to avoid taking stairs or needing to walk if you are tired.

Where this resort really shines and stands out from the rest is its staff. The hospitality and kindness offered by all the staff is unmatched. Everyone was so warm, helpful and attentive and truly made us feel cared for and supported in all moments.

All the details of our stay, made our experience outstanding. Our housekeeper Tid, who always had a sweet smile, made the most adorable towel figures each day, which was something I looked forward to seeing upon returning to our room at night. All the restaurant staff knew and greeted us by our names and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Glory, who was frequently our server, was always making conversation and providing recommendations.

Our Butlers, Romi and Dao who were ever so attentive, accommodating and kind. Romi and Dao were very personable - they check in with you on WhatsApp frequently or stop to chat with you on the property to make sure you have everything you need or to help you make any sort of plans or recommendations. They prevent or alleviate any sort of stress of burden you might encounter.

We also utilized the spa several times during our stay and Apple and May were simply divine. While there are numerous options for massages on the island, we were so impressed by our massages and the skill and finesse that the staff at the Vanabelle showed that we only opted for the massages at the hotel.

The chef at Kiree deserves some serious praise as well. The breakfast spread is vast and delicious. You can eat from buffet and order off the menu so you can experience many different flavors in every meal. You will mourn the loss of the breakfast after your vacation ends. The chef, Federico, also created some truly delicious dinners customized to my diet as my husbands diet (gluten free). We are still raving about these meals.

Every single person that works at the Vana-Belle was so welcoming and it is clear they work hard to anticipate your needs. They are always smiling, exude happiness and warmth and it creates a wonderful and relaxed vibe for the guests.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would rank this as the resort with the most top notch service of any resort we have ever stayed at. This place is 10/10.

Perfectly named, Smile at the Vana Belle Spa, brought many smiles and undid weeks of stress with her wonderful massage therapy, warm & calming demeanor, and seemingly magical hands that found all the knots & pain points. Two hours with her were truly therapeutic. I had multiple sessions with her for head, neck, shoulders, back, arms/hands and feet. Each visit welcomed me with a cool rose-scented towel, refreshing cold drink and unique rose-shaped treat. After each treatment, ginger infused tea and a special delicacy awaited. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and so friendly. Highly recommend this lovely spa and talented masseuse!
