Arrive to the long dramatic illuminated lobby at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui with a fresh breeze flowing through and natrual sun and moonlight coming through. Walking along this fresh lobby walkway, will take you all the way to the the oceans edge for the perfect frame for your first vacation photo. The resort is built around the YangNa Trees (protected trees in thailand) and coconut trees, famous to Koh Samui. The hotel grounds has over 600 trees on our 8 acres, the hotel design based on the hotel being a gallery within the protected forest allowing guests many places to sit, rest, look out to the ocean, walk within tropical and garden flower beds and of course celebrate. The hotel has 140 rooms, including a regency club, 17 suites and 7 pool villas. Each of the villas are at the beach and seaside edge and have large expansive deck areas. The Presidential Villa is the largest and most luxurious of all. The hotel has a signature grill restaurant and bar by the beach, Lobby Bar social space and a Spa of 5 treatments rooms (2 are double suites). The hotel has event space of 190sqm allowing sit down western dinners of 100pax, cocktails for 150, and we welcome events outdoors, beach and other locations of our hotel.

Friendy staff, Great location.
Lovely hotel situated in a quiet area not far from Chaweng Beach. Very friendly staff and clean/updated rooms. Beachfront access was useful for water sports. Large pool that the kids loved. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Pool Villa & exceptional service
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The pool villa was absolutely stunning, spacious and clean. The service was exceptional and every member of the staff was kind and attentive.
The food was delicious and every meal was a pleasure. The sea was breathtaking, so calm that it felt like swimming in a giant natural pool.
Everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unforgettable vacation.
Amazing!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here with our 2 boys (15 and 11 years). Excellent facilities and service our entire stay. The team are just the right amount of professional and friendly. Anticipate your needs and go above and beyond. Beautiful and peaceful location, no sunbed fights and just a short taxi ride away from the more lively areas. Thank you. We all loved it.
Great experience
Amazing customer service. Room was large and clean. Beach area is not that great but everything else makes up for it. Rent a car and explore the other beaches like we did!
Beautiful resort!
We had one of our best beach vacations at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui. On this trip, we moved here after a short stay at the Kimpton Kitalay Samui, so I wanted to share a quick comparison for anyone deciding between the two. For our family, the Hyatt was way better, even though the nightly rate was about half of what we paid at the Kimpton.
The Hyatt has multiple beautiful pools, including a cute kids' pool, while the Kimpton has just one fairly standard pool that everyone shares unless you're staying in a swim-up room. The Hyatt's layout is much better with layered pools and path winding through the beautiful grounds. The breakfast was much better with more tropic fruits, fresh coconuts, and overall more and better food options. The Hyatt also has a club lounge which helps a lot when you have young kids.
As a Hyatt Globalist, we were proactively upgraded to a very spacious suite before arrival, while we did not receive any upgrade as an IHG Diamond at the Kimpton.
The Hyatt's location was less central and the beach has coarser sand. However, the relaxing atmosphere and being able to do a bit of snorkeling right from the beach more than made up for those.
I also really appreciated the resort's commitment to sustainability, from designing the resort around the beautiful Yang Na trees, to the organic gardens on site, cute "touch-me-not" plants along the pathways, and in water recycling and solar panels. It just feels good that the resort tries to make the island a better place.
