Just a 5-minute drive from Ubud, this boutique resort hotel is located in the Petanu valley, near the village of Nagi, and offers spectacular views of the river gorge and terraced paddy fields beyond. Ubud Market and the Monkey Forest are both about 5 minutes away. The drive from Denpasar to the hotel takes about 40 min, while the journey from Bali International Airport to the hotel takes approximately 50 minutes. All rooms open onto a large infinity-edge swimming pool set in a lush tropical garden which offers great view of a forested ravine and a river. All the rooms have all the comforts expected of a hotel in its class. Guests can participate in activities such as jogging and cycling around the village. Breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are available either à la carte or from a set menu. This resort will enchant the guests with its warm hospitality and surrounding beauty.

Memorable experience!
One of the small luxurious hotels that I have stayed in. Excellent staff and very well maintained property. The room with the pool was spacious and very comfortable. The whole place gives the feeling of luxury. The one thing that makes it desirable is that water is safe to drink even from the tap. Breakfast is sumptuous and staff go out of the way to make you happy.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here during our honeymoon! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The service was outstanding, and the entire team was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel special throughout our stay.

An unforgettable luxury escape at Viceroy Bali!
Absolutely stunning property with breathtaking jungle views, beautiful private pool villas, and exceptional hospitality. Every detail feels luxurious, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. The food was outstanding, especially the breakfast and dining at Cascades Restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration extra special with lovely surprises and personalized touches. Truly a peaceful paradise in Ubud and one of our favorite luxury resort experiences. Highly recommended!
A superb stay at the Viceroy
My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Viceroy in October and I can honestly say it was a superb experience. Although at the higher end of hotel price points in Ubud, it was worth every penny. From a location perspective it is close to Ubud which makes exploration outside the hotel straightforward - especially given the general traffic issues in the Ubud area. We booked the Garden Pool Villa, which was excellent - a really high room standard and in a quiet location on the property close to the river, but with a real feeling of being in the jungle!
The stand out feature of the hotel - aside from being a beautiful property - is the service provided by all hotel staff. Viceroy staff simply could not do enough for us and high quality customer service was delivered routinely in a manner that felt like real personal attention. If you value this as part of a hotel stay then the Viceroy delivers.
There is plenty to see and do in the Ubud area and the hotel will arrange and customise trips based on your needs. We took a local tour to rice fields, coffee plantation, waterfall and a temple, which was excellent - Yogi was our guide and he was superb - very professional and very knowledgable.
We ate only in the Cascades restaurant and the food was excellent. The setting for dinner and breakfast looking over the jungle is truly lovely.
In summary, a high quality boutique style, family run property which provides first class service and high quality accomodation in a unique jungle setting.
