Huge 2 Bedroom Suite, Amazing Ocean Views
Our two-bedroom suite on level 4 was huge, with a massive balcony and the most incredible ocean views! The views were definitely a highlight of our stay. The pool was super long, and the location was fantastic, close to everything in Seminyak. The apartment was a little dated, but the size and views made up for it.
The rooftop buffet breakfast was lovely, with stunning ocean views and the option to order freshly prepared food to your table. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced, and room service was fantastic (one of the fastest we’ve experienced!). Service throughout the resort was excellent overall, although a little slower around the pool. We also loved the beach lounges across the road, where you can order food and drinks straight to your chair. A few more pasta options on the menu would be a bonus!
The biggest downside was the loud music from the beach bars, which continued until around 10 pm every night. We could hear several different songs playing at once, all blending together, which was frustrating when trying to relax and sleep, especially with kids.
I also missed the traditional Bali resort feel, with tropical gardens and lush greenery, as Double-Six has more of a modern hotel vibe.
Overall, a great option for families with older kids wanting heaps of space, incredible ocean views and a fantastic location, provided you don’t mind the late night beach music!

Relaxing stay

Great for couples and older children
We stayed on 2nd floor with a pool view room. Our room directly overlooked the bar which wasn't the most private of places. We stayed in room 211. It was also difficult to completely block the light out.
Very friendly, attentive staff. They always greeted the guests with a smile 🙂
Food was good flavour and quality. The hotel menu also had some very tasty options too. It would've been nice with the breakfast service to have pancakes/waffles also made to order so that they were cold and hard. Flavour was fine though 🙂
The views and cocktails made this place 💯 especially with happy hour x2 per day. What a clever way to get guests in the mood earlier in the day 😉🍹
We are also very grateful to the hotel for offering us the opportunity to rebook our holiday. We had booked earlier in the year and unfortunately we're forced to cancel our stay. For those families with smaller children unsure whether to stay or not. It is lovely and while children do not have a dedicated kids club, there have still been plenty of small children around.
I would say to those families with slightly more boisterous children, this may not suit your taste as there are many older couples staying, however most of the older couples appeared to be quite happy to see small children around them.
There is also a shallow section to the pool, however no slides etc and I do think kids would be tempted by the foot bridge that goes over the pool to the beach and road to jump off. Also very easy access from there for a child to wander off if not completely supervised.
