- Prama Sanur Beach Bali

This hotel is located right on the sandy beach of Sanur, one of Bali's most popular areas. It is the perfect base from which to explore Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, known for its colourful and vibrant temple festivals, sun-drenched beaches, rolling surf and rustic villages. The hotel is surrounded by 70,000 m2 of tropical gardens with many mature trees and coconut palms. It also boasts a wide range of services and facilities, including various restaurants and bars, serving Italian, Indonesian, Asian and international dishes. Guests may enjoy a full-service spa and a fitness centre or spend their day relaxing on the beach or lounging in the pool. There is an special area for the little ones. The spacious rooms offer modern conveniences for guests comfort.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Awesome location. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned every day and had everything I needed. Great place to stay with family and /or friends.
We have just returned from our 7th stay at the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, where we are always warmly greeted back to our 'Bali home'. The location is perfect, being absolute beachfront and towards the southern end of the Sanur region, which in our opinion, is far nicer than the northern end. Although it is a large resort, set amongst beautiful, well-established tropical gardens, it never feels crowded or noisy. The rooms are spacious and quiet : our first visit was in a 'garden view room', but our 'regular' has become a 'Junior Suite' overlooking the Lagoon pool out to the sea. (*Note: Many rooms have been re-furbished, but some (including our suite) although functional and clean, are looking a bit the worse for wear. We understand upgrades will be happening very soon.) Apart from the large Lagoon pool, there is also a separate children's pool with a large 'water feature' with slides, big bucket etc.. If you prefer to stay out of the sun, there are many 'loungers' set up under large shady trees, right by the seashore, where there is always a lovely cooling sea breeze. There are several excellent and very reasonably priced restaurants on site- the 'Basilico' even serves top-quality Aussie steak! Our all-time favourite is the Bamboo Beach Bar which has happy (two) hours every day, great food and live entertainment/ bands/cultural shows every night on the beach stage. A great spot to 'people-watch' and unwind at the end of the day! The buffet breakfasts are superb, catering to the varying cuisines of guests - there's something for everyone! A lovely, paved, flat and mostly shaded walkway lined with restaurants, warungs and stalls out the front of the hotel extends for kilometres along the beachfront-up to (and beyond) the Icon shopping centre. There are also bikes, jet skis for hire, along with boat rides and parasailing. In the hotel foyer, there is a money changer, ATM machine and a tour/ driver hire desk, as well as a small arcade of shops. If you have a night flight home, ask for late checkout. Once you've checked out, they will safely store your luggage until it's time to leave for the airport. Although the Prama is an older hotel ( having just turned 52 ) it has so much to offer! Check out their website for more detailed info!
Hotel location is good. F&B outlet is good accept breakfast menu need to change. Hotel room need a total renovation. Cupboard door cracking sound is loud each time when it open. Wooden floor cracking sound each time when a person walk. Only 2 electrical power socket in the room (1 at boiling water point and 1 at make up mirror). No power socket at bed side. Room interior and Bed need to be upgrade.
It's our first time to Bali and we found that Prama's location really good. Pepito (grocery) was near, different warungs, beer garden and other food stalls were walking distance. The hotel is clean and had lots of greeneries which was really nice. We mostly used the family pool as we have 2 kids whom enjoyed the slides and pools. The breakfast as really good. You have your usual english breakfast items and they change their Indonesian food everyday, making us able to taste different food. The staff were really nice, smiling, and approachable. Different events at night, different buffet offerings so make sure you check them out. You don't need to book the buffet to see or participate in different activities. We look forward to staying in Prama again. Special shout out to Kadek Sriwahyuni for helping us with our booking.
Wonderful resort and fabulous staff and service, but could be even better with Happy hour service on the beach lounges. All day we can order food and drinks from the beach but when happy hour time comes, we have to move to the bar for service.
