World Class Service
We have stayed at five star resorts around the world, but The Laguna stands at the top for its unparalleled hospitality. Great service is simply a part of the culture here and is demonstrated by each member of the staff, from the pool attendants to the restaurant hosts. Every guest, whether in the biggest room or the smallest room, is made to feel special.
We came to the Laguna for a multigenerational family vacation. Unfortunately, a day into our trip, an elderly family member had an unexpected illness and had to be hospitalized. Luckily for us, the nearest hospital (BIMC with excellent doctors and nurses) was across the street from the resort. It was an extremely stressful time, but the Laguna staff stepped in and supported us in ways big and small. Mudastra arranged for transportation to the hospital and stayed with us during the initial emergency room evaluation. During our stay, we were able to use Whatsapp to contact concierge and reception staff to arrange complimentary transportation between the hotel and the hospital, often multiple times a day over a period of 10 days. Staff members even proactively packed up food for us and arranged room service when we were unable to make it to the restaurant during breakfast hours. Verina and Perdi helped us book additional rooms and extend our stay until our family member was well enough to travel again. On our last day, the hotel arranged for a 3:30 am wakeup call and even delivered 2 steaming hot lattes (one in a mug and one in a takeaway cup) 15 minutes later to ensure we made it to the airport for our early morning flight.
When our family member recovered, we were able to enjoy all of the other benefits of the Laguna: the well-maintained rooms, the convenient location on a beautiful beach (with plentiful lounge chairs), the series of salwater lagoons and freshwater pools that were never too crowded, the delicious food and cocktails at the hotel restaurants, and the proximity to the Bali Collection group of stores. The concierge arranged boating and land excursions that kept the kids engaged. Sonia coordinated a memorable family photography session. We even witnessed the hotel’s turtle conservation program in action as guests helped release 30+ recently hatched baby turtles back into the ocean.
We can not say enough good things about the Laguna and look forward to returning in the future.

The location is perfect, the atmosphere and the rooms too. Cleanliness is on very high level. The person of the hotel is doing perfect job. They are very kind and they help you with everything. I will come back on 100%.

Absolutely the BEST Resort!
We spent 10 glorious days at The Laguna Resort, Nusa Dua. After many, many trips to Bali over the past 10 years this holiday was one of the best. The Laguna Resort is in such a perfect location. Not only do you have the fabulous restaurants within the resort which we loved but you’re walking distance to the Bali Collection Mall which has plenty of restaurant options and shops plus if you wish to dine along the beachfront there are plenty of options too.
The resort itself is magnificent, set amongst beautiful gardens with amazing lagoon style pools winding their way through the gardens. There are plenty of sun lounges in many different spots so it always feels very private no matter where you choose to lounge. Our favourite spot was beside the salt water lagoon pool near the Sapphire Bar.
Our room was on the 4th floor over looking the lagoon pool, the room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable.
Breakfast each morning was a treat, the choice was amazing and beautifully displayed each day. Tya, in particular provided us with personalised service everyday and it was a joy to see her each morning! Thank you Tya.
Our visits to the fitness centre each morning were great, Rio was like our own personal trainer offering assistance and advice whenever needed and always greeting us by name every day.
All of the staff are amazing , but we must say in particular, Manager Gus Ari went above and beyond all expectations to look after us and take care of every little detail. His personalised service was very much appreciated. Everyday he would check in with us wherever we were and see if we needed anything and personally let us know of what was happening around the resort and booking our favourite cabana for us. We particularly loved the baby Turtle release on the beach and the Fire show and buffet dinner.
Thank you to all the staff at The Laguna, we love you all.
Gus you are amazing and we look forward to seeing you again on our Christmas holiday this year.

Perfection is Laguna
We loved everything about this lovely resort. We were disappointed and unsatisfied with where our travel agent had booked us. On the possibility Laguna may be able to accommodate us, as we'd stayed here many times over the past 20 years, we called in. Berta made us very welcome and we were shown a possible room that with the renovations, was beyond our expectations. We moved over the next day and Perti arranged our stay further. Laguna staff excel in their attention to detail from a warm welcome platter of fruit and cakes on arrival, to offering me, with a chest infection, hot tea with honey, lemon grass and slices of fresh ginger. Setting up a comfortable shady seat on the beach, taking a drink order, nothing was too much trouble and we were thoroughly spoilt. Breakfast was always exemplary. What a pleasure it was to be a guest again at this excellent hotel. Close to Bali Collection, street shopping and a beautiful beach. Thank you Laguna management and staff.
