Vacation using the hotel's PTC program
It’s a good hotel, though I feel it’s overpriced. Cleanliness needs improvement—especially in the bathrooms and regarding the cleanup after construction or renovation work. Some restaurants are nothing special, while others—like El Gaucho and La Brasa — are excellent. I’d stay there again if the price wasn't too high. I’d advise against having high expectations; overall, it’s a good hotel, but nothing extraordinary.

Lovely resort
We stayed at TRS Yucatan for two weeks as a couple and overall had a lovely holiday. It’s a beautiful resort with a great selection of restaurants, excellent service and plenty to enjoy.
Our absolute favourite was the infinity pool. We spent time there every single day of our holiday and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A special mention has to go to Luciana, who was the server around the pool. Her service was outstanding throughout our stay — she was attentive, friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed.
We also really enjoyed the choice of restaurants. There was plenty of variety, so there was something for everyone, and we never struggled to get a reservation when we wanted one.
We also want to say a huge thank you to Arnfurlo, Gabriella and Ashley at the Helios restaurant. Their wonderful service, kindness and friendly personalities really made our holiday. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after, and they are a real credit to the resort.
The main reason we’ve given the resort 4 stars rather than 5 is the evening entertainment. We felt that the adults-only section was a little too quiet, particularly if you didn’t want to pay extra for some of the evening dining and entertainment options such as CHIC. Having already spent thousands of pounds on the holiday, we didn’t feel that paying additional charges for these was particularly good value.
We weren’t looking for a lively or party atmosphere — we specifically wanted a chilled adults-only holiday — but we did feel there could have been a little more entertainment available. Some evenings there wasn’t a great deal happening, while on other nights the entertainment started quite late or had quite long gaps between acts.
Unfortunately, this is probably the main reason we wouldn’t return. We didn’t particularly want to spend our evenings in the family areas, but found the adults-only section a little too quiet for us after two weeks.
That said, we still had a really enjoyable holiday and think TRS Yucatan is a lovely resort. The beautiful surroundings, amazing infinity pool, fantastic restaurant selection and wonderful staff made it a memorable two weeks.

Great resort for honeymooners, incredible staff
Great Honeymoon at TRS Yucatan! Rooms and facilities are designed beautifully and very clean. Amazing food, nice pools, and very fun night entertainment! Our already great experience was made exponentially better due to some of the amazing staff. First and foremost our butlers for villa 66- Alfredo and Gabriel. They both went way above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. From ensuring we had coffee delivered every morning, to adding romantic touches to our room throughout our stay (rose petals, champagne, chocolates), and truly meeting our every need. We always had a car and driver when we needed it, dinner reservations, fresh towels, stocked fridge, etc. we never once needed for anything! We would also like to recognize Naomi at the concierge desk- we needed a medication they didn’t stock at the resort and she took a lot of time to help us price out the best way to get it- looking into med delivery, taxi to and from the pharmacy, and then called our butlers and was actually able to arrange it with them so that they could pick it up on their way into work (saving us SO much $$) Again our butlers were AMAZING. Lastly Alejandro was the best cart driver on the property taking the time to keeping us entertained while getting us place to place. Such a kind guy! All in all we have no real complaints about the resort as a whole. The only thing we would do differently next time is not pay for the PTC upgrade they offer at check in. We feel the “benefits” were not worth the extra cost. Felt a bit scammy, which was disappointing because the rest of our experience was so positive. Other things to note- -The resort is pretty far from major excursion sites- so know when booking, if you want to see chichen itza, major cenotes, etc. it will take the majority of the day to get there and back. -While there is an adults-only TRS “beach club” the section of beach itself is not sectioned off as adults-only so there were several times kids were playing in the sand at the adults-only site -bring bug spray!! Overall we think it was a great resort for couples looking to relax, get pampered, and enjoy one another. But if you’re looking to explore Mexico or do excursions, a resort closer to Cancun would be better. Again big shout out to the staff who made our experience exceptional: butlers Alfredo and Gabriel, Naomi at concierge, and Alejandro the driver :)

Overall A+ Service was awesome We will be back! Only downfall was Las Rocas wasn’t open bc of the horrible seaweed. It is what it is. Made up for it with the friendliness and service

Best resort ever
Loved the staff and convenience of the golf carts and getting anything I needed really quick. Fernanda at check in was amazing with explaining everything on the property. Will definitely be back.
