We recently visited Sensira for what was supposed to be a week of family fun for my mom’s 50th birthday. Almost immediately when we arrived, we came to the realization it was going to be one of our most memorable trips (and not in a good way.) Starting with the check in process we requested beforehand to have a king bedroom and two double bed rooms. When we got to our rooms they were all kings. We decided, let’s work with it and try to make the best of it. We put on our suits headed to the pool and quickly realized we would not be spending much of our time there that week as both pools were disgusting. Both had big hair balls, plastic cups from drinks, bandaids etc. You name it — more than likely it was floating around in there. The kids waterpark slides were shut down for 5 of the 7 days we were there. Every time you used one of the public toilets, there was feces in them or missing a toilet seat altogether. There were barely any activities during the week. We saw two shows the entire week we were there. One night, a magic show got completely canceled so everyone could watch soccer. Half of the entirety of the buffet was closed the entire time we were there. Which overall was disappointing because they only had two restaurants open during the week at nights. The food overall wherever we went was very mid. The service workers here work so hard, but are severely understaffed and underpaid. Which brings me to my next point — mid week a wedding party arrived. Their wedding was unable to happen on the beach (weather reasons) so the staff took up half of one of the pools from 9am-7pm to hold their wedding over the pool (ok minor inconvenience to the rest of the paying guests.) Then, they shut down the buffet (due to lack of service workers) in order to have their small staff for their wedding reception! Overall, the resort is very run down and dirty. We talked with management to try to switch resorts mid week — which they denied. Don’t worry🙄 they made it up to us with access to a rundown VIP room with no service members and had bird crap all over their outdoor furniture. All week we heard from their service team “we used to have this (insert service), but we don’t anymore.” We were so disappointed/sad the entire week we actually paid to go on an excursion to get the hell out of this place! Beyonddddddd disappointed with the entire experience. We’ve been to Mexico several times and this was by far the worst resort of them all! PLEASE Save your money and go somewhere else that will take care of you and your family!
Best experience at the rodeo grill service was amazing our server Fidel Estrada was very polite and attentive. Best experience here thus far
Although the service elsewhere wasn’t very good, Ana’s service at the Italian restaurant was truly excellent.
The atmosphere is very kids and family friendly. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. Sandy at the front desk was very helpful. The location is convenient, just 20 minutes from the airport. For the amount of activities and food options, its great value for money. They keep it very clean with minimal noise if any, making it very relaxing.
The hotel is very nice and the activities with Victor is very cool
