This place is the perfect mix of relaxation & party if you like both. If you don’t then just the relaxing part of it is perfect. My boyfriend and I relaxed by the pool where Damian and Daniel our pool boys were so helpful cleaning our sunglasses & making sure we had everything we needed. Our waiter Julio was the best, always knew when to come back for us to order our next drink. All the staff was amazing.

WARNING: Unethical Booking Practices & Ghosted by Management
I am writing this to warn anyone considering a booking or membership with Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) or their associated resorts (Secrets/Breathless/Hyatt). Their internal incompetence and predatory business practices will leave you stranded in a crisis.Due to a sudden family emergency, a 3-night stay booked for June 24–27 had to be canceled. The cancellation request and official medical documentation were submitted on June 19—five full days before check-in. UVC agent formally acknowledged this.Instead of routing the cancellation to the resort, the UVC agent sat on the cancellation for a full week. Why? It appears UVC agents are heavily disincentivized to process cancellations to protect their personal retention metrics. By withholding the notification, the resort kept the room open and charged a massive "no-show" penalty.When confronted, the resort confirmed UVC never notified them of the early cancellation. Now, both companies are trapped in a endless loop of finger-pointing:UVC blames the resort for charging the fee.The Resort blames UVC for never transmitting the cancellation.The Reality: A customer experiencing a family emergency is being financially penalized for UVC's internal sabotage.Even worse, no one is responding to my multiple calls and emails. They have completely ghosted me. I am not even demanding a cash refund; I simply requested a credit to reschedule the stay for later this summer. They refused.This is a highly unethical, deceptive practice that preys on customers during vulnerable family emergencies. I have escalated this nightmare to Hyatt Consumer Affairs and resort general management.Avoid UVC and Breathless/Secrets resorts. They will take your money, ignore your emergencies, manipulate their own systems to force penalties, and cut off communication when caught.
Cancún secrets riviera
The staff at the pool area were extremely helpful and Daniel and Damien always helped me find a spot and was super helpful with my things even till our last day with helping me with my bags as we left. The pool area was very nice and clean and can be the perfect spot to chill and not to be overly crazy , and the entertainment was good. It was a nice experience with many of the staff. Thank you Nedel for your kindness and always keep us our drinks full and your food recommendations they were perfect, and Sir Luis from Nebraska and his little side kick helper Mia he and Mia are a great highlight with getting many guests to do pool aerobics , and volleyball , and making guacamole. And I’m impressed with Luis to get my husband to make bracelets and to do water aerobics .
Leaving this great staff makes it hard to come home. Thank you Damien ,Daniel, Nedel, and much love to Luis and Mia. You guys will never be forgotten. Thank you all for our new memories
Wonderful stay for our anniversary
Wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make it a special experience for us. The hotel room and amenities were beautiful and clean. We would definitely return!
