Great family holiday!
It’s our last day today - family of 4 (daughters 7 and 11). What an amazing holiday! The resort was everything we wanted. It’s very clean, the facilities are so good, our room was spacious with a whirlpool bath, the staff are super friendly, warm and always give you a service with a huge smile. Jesus and the team at the Dips Pool Bar were fantastic and greet every guest with the same high energy. The pools are great fun. My daughters absolutely loved the lazy river. You can’t really use the beach due to the seaweed but that didn’t detract from our experience here. Booking the restaurants for evening meals is dead easy through the app - book early though. The Brazilian was our favourite. The Shaken Bar had a great atmosphere and some very strong drinks. We never had an issue finding sun loungers regardless of what time of the day. Freddy from the excursions team was great organising our trip to Isla Mujeres - I highly recommend that. We have visited this part of the world a lot - Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic - this has been our best holiday yet!

The Staff make it!
The staff here work so hard and are so friendly. They really make it special. The restaurants are wonderful too. Juan is one of the many wonderful staff here. Thank you 🥰

Go! Amazing Experience! Stunning!
I wanted to wait until I was back home to leave a proper review. First of all, YOU HAVE TO BOOK DIAMOND CLUB! The hotel itself is beautiful! What a view from the moment you enter the gorgeous lobby. Once you pull up, your bags are immediately handled. They walk you directly to the Diamond Club to check in. Inside there, there is already a bar with premium drinks (Patron, Don Julio, Hennessey, VSOP, etc). We arrived starving from the airport so my daughter was able to grab food right inside the DC lounge. Just an amazing experience. I purchased a cake and paid for room decorations for my daughters 15th birthday (decorations were $60, cake was $25 if i remember correctly). When we walked in the room, it was STUNNINGGGGGGGGG (14503). Literally, I am ready to book my next vacay there. The view from the swim out pool to the ocean was like a dream. Our butlers were Ricardo (Rick) and Alex. They both were simply amazing. They were available all day for us. What's App'd us the daily activities. Some medical issues came up due to my husband's asthma and they jumped in to help. Literally, I cant recommend them and DC service enough. Even the hotel taxi driver Arturo was amazing. He took us to have some street tacos which was on our bucket list. What a guy! As for the food...we loved all of the restaurants that we went to. I'm not sure where these reviews are coming from. The Steak house was on par with any midtown NY steakhouse (yes it was that good). We went to the Brazilian steakhouse, twice! You have to try the chicken with bacon!! We even tried Smokehouse. It was as if we were in the US. Very good pulled pork, brisket and my husband loved his chicken dish. They sang HB to our daughter and from start to finish, the service and attention in this resort was the best I've encountered. Trust me, if you can afford to book the Diamond Club, do it!

Fun in the sun
We had a great experience! We enjoyed dinner each night at one of the restaurants. Zen was our favorite! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools and water parks were awesome! A big shoutout to Moses who greeted us and helped with our bags and gave us the rundown on where everything was. While we had an amazing time, there were a few things that kept it from being a dull 5-Star experience . The sargassum was so bad at the beach that we couldn’t get in, 3 of the slides at the water park were closed and it was very difficult to make dinner reservations with things being full. We ended up having to book without the kids in order to be able to get in (to leases the party size from 4 to 2).
Memories to remember
Had a wonderful experience as a first time visitor to Cancun. The resort was amazing and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Big thank you to our wonderful team of Cristian and Gonzalo who took amazing care of us and were always ready to assist us. A great time spent and will definitely visit again!!
