The Royal Haciendas All Inclusive

Another great experience! It began with an extremely smooth check in experience. Rosa and Susana at the front desk were fantastic and helpful. The service at the restaurants and bars was amazing as usual. I am always amazed how numerous employees are greeting us by name by the end of the first day. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned well daily.

The location is beautiful, can't control nature so no use complaining about the sarcasm. Since Holiday Inn took over, the installations and service aren't the same as Royal Resorts. The buildings and gardens need maintenance. There is trash by the pool every morning and sand. It was much better maintained before. The service isn't consistent. The food and drinks are mid- the buffet is basic. They try to appear to have high end food and specialty restaurants, but the food is just ok. The best part was the entertainment staff. Rafael, Hector, Joshua, Charlie, etc...were excellent! Great hosts, fun during activities and they're the ones that made our stay the most enjoyable. Tuburcio at the bar and both Oscar and Abel at the Palapa provided excellent friendly and consistent service. Unfortunately this is not the Royal Resort membership we originally purchased, but HIVC doesn't seem to care. The bottom line is to bring in as many potential new customers as possible. This leads to folks that weren't here before. We had things stolen by the pool at Haciendas and Sands...so be careful. The airport transportation was prearranged and was not what was arranged. Thomas Moore told me they couldn't do anything and that if I write a review that is the only way the bosses see it.
