Sandos Caracol Eco Resort

My family thinks of sandos as paradise. It truly is A magical place. We have been coming to this resort for over 7 years now and bought into our membership about 2 years ago and we are so happy with our decision to buy into the Sandos family. Thats how the amazing staff at Sandos make is feel like. The staff at this resort make this resort above the rest we have traveled to in the past. I'd like to give a shout out to a few of those amazing people. They deserve recognition for how awesome they are. First off Karla the concierge at the front dest always a welcoming face each and every morning. Isabell from Royal Elite goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. Jhonatan from the pool bar is amazing we always enjoy seeing his smiling kind and familiar face, as Jhonatan served our wedding in 2024 and has been an amazing reason to make trips down also is Karla from the buffet Karla also served our wedding she is truly a good person. Danny at the buffet is fun and always beings a smile to our face. Alessandro from the Los Rios Restaurant is such a professional at his job. He is very attentive making our experience for dinners exceptional. Grey who works the Los Rios Breakfast is a wonderful lady super friendly and inviting. The Rivera the manager Alex is absolutely a great addition to Sandos and we hope to come see him again soon. Luciano the waiter at La Rivera is a cut above he always makes sure we have a incredible dinner he always remains calm and efficient even in prime time dinner hours and We love this restaurant because f the experience they provide us each and everytime. I'd also like to mention leo from seek and go and Morgan who was working the theater bar. He was by himself one evening and he handled himself well. David our favorite bell boy. Thank you really to the entire Sandos staff your the reason we come as often as we do. The improvements being made across the resort are exciting and positive and we can't wait for our next visit. This is my 4th time at Sandos Caracol and I cannot praise it enough. From rooms being cleaned every morning before lunchtime and fast service for drinks even when seriously busy in the main buffet (La laguna) it’s a great resort. Amazing animals for children including coatis and iguanas and even spider monkeys. Rooms very clean and friendly staff at reception. The cleaners and waiters and waitresses work seriously hard. The teppanyaki never fails to disappoint either. The food is pretty standard here as in most all inclusive hotels but it’s the variety that makes it even better. The cleanliness of the rooms is good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday/ vacation in Mexico. We also appreciate the new steaks added at los lirios like the ribeye which tasted very nice compared to options last year

We had a wonderful family vacation at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort! The rooms were excellent, and the waterpark slides were definitely a hit with everyone. There was so much to explore around the resort, and we loved having so many activities and spaces to discover as a family.

As an eco resort, the property has lots of beautiful trees, greenery, and natural, swampy areas throughout. While this adds to the unique atmosphere and gives you plenty to explore, it also means there are quite a few mosquitoes! Definitely bring bug spray, as we found it was a must-have throughout our stay.

One thing we wish we had known more about upon arrival was all the different areas and experiences available throughout the resort. Having a little more information at check-in would have helped us make the most of our stay. As a family group of 8, we also found it challenging to get a table together for meals. With reservations not being available, coordinating meals for our whole group was sometimes difficult.

A special thank you to Mireia, who was absolutely amazing throughout our entire stay! She was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always willing to assist our family. We truly appreciated everything she did to make our vacation smoother and more enjoyable. Her kindness and support really stood out and made a lasting impression on us.

Overall, we had a great time making memories together and enjoyed our stay at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort.
