Loved this place
I'll start by saying ignore the negatives, the place is really good
Arrived around 8pm on the 30th June, check in was smooth and got into our rooms 15 minutes later.
Room was a decent size, very clean and the aircon was a blessing due to how hot it was. Only downside was the lack of drawers and cupboards for your clothes, we were a family of 4 and struggled for space. Mini fridge was well stocked and replenished daily.
Food - Found the buffet quite repetitive at the start as they were using the Italian and Mexican restaurants which were quite small, we didn't go hungry but found it crowded. Things changed dramatically when the main Buffet restaurant opened, loads of choice. Ate at El Templo which was outstanding, a bit warm but the food was excellent as was the Chefs banter. Also ate at Los Lirlos, again food was of a very high standard and waiting staff were very attentive.
Drink - There were 4 bars we attended, all served decent beers ( draught and cans ), Most spirits were branded ( Havana and Absolute ), cocktails were decent as well.
Pools - We spent most of the time by the main pool which was always busy but we always found sun beds, water was quite warm though, not the resorts fault by the way. Kids had a blast there. Water park was decent as well.
Entertainment - We seen a few shows but by far the best was Michael Jackson tribute, he was excellent. They also used the theatre for some of the football games which was really good.
A few things they could improve on Self serve for beer and soft drinks, would reduce the queues considerably. Put spoons on each table, they were difficult to find at times Only had ketchup, no brown sauce
