Always Paradise
The people make this place special. This was our 5th? visit. The personalized service for families, activities and amazing people keep us coming back for more. Our wonderful, kind, super amazing concierge Jonathan, goes above and beyond for our family during our stay. We are so thankful for him. The women at kids club (Yadira, Yessenia, Carlota, Lety) and all the rest give our daughter such a fun experience, she never wants to leave! The best pool concierge is Angelo! He's so friendly and goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience by the pool! The activities team is awesome with everything they do! Marco at Capella was our favorite kind and funny waiter. We also had some great ones at Lemon Fish, Blue Agave and Cielo. They really pushed the Circle Membership this time, but I met Hannah that way and she's amazing! While the sargassum took over the beaches this year, the pools were a great way to cool off in the heat! The waterpark adds more adventure too! I love how they moved Kanna to the beach. It's a really fun area! The numerous activities keep you from ever getting bored. There's so many great things about this resort, it would take too long to list! We hope we're lucky enough to return again and cant wait for our next adventure in Paradise.

Top notch pool service, great location!
We loved and really enjoyed the adults only side and the bars and restaurants. The HIGHLIGHT of our stay by FAR was Chris / Christian at the main adult pool. Compared to others (sorry) he was so attentive, top notch service, super fast, sweet, and made us feel so so taken care of. He highlighted this 10 day vacation for my friends 30th birthday, thank you Chris!

Amazing stay
We have had a lovely stay. Family with older kids of 21 and 18. It’s not the liveliest place, but that suited us. There was a late bar till 1pm which was more than enough. The standard rooms are great, unless you want swim up, there really was no need for us to upgrade. Aircon worked a treat. Super easy to book restaurants at the dedicated desk. Food was great and we only used the buffet once in the evening as the restaurants were so easy to book. There are so many sunbeds. We’ve arrived just before most UK schools break up, so it’s starting to get busy and still lots and lots of sun beds. I really don’t think you’ll have an issue even when this place is full. They have factor 50 sun cream at the towel station which came in handy on our last day! All the staff were amazing. Special thank you to Christopher at reception who made check out so easy and let us use our rooms until we were ready to leave. 5th Avenue is easy to get to and great fun. We walked it the first time, but as it’s so hot, we used a taxi for further visits!
I WANTED to love this resort.
First, I want to say that we truly loved nearly everyone we encountered during our stay. The resort is beautiful, the buffet was excellent, and the coffee, cakes, and candy bar were amazing. I also upgraded our package, and our concierge, Jonathan, took exceptional care of us. He deserves an A+.
Unfortunately, a few issues significantly affected our experience:
Overnight construction
I do not understand why construction was allowed to continue throughout the night. On Tuesday, July 14, the noise woke my sons several times, although we were eventually able to fall back asleep. On Wednesday, July 15, the construction kept me awake all night. I had to be up at 3:30 a.m. to leave for the airport, so I received no sleep at all. I was extremely upset, and the exhaustion affected my first day back at work. Guests should be able to expect quiet hours after 10 p.m., particularly at a resort of this caliber.
Red Bull pricing
I was surprised that Red Bull was not included in our upgraded package, but I was willing to pay a reasonable additional charge. However, I was charged $17 for two Red Bulls on the first day and $20 for two on the second day. I am unsure why the price changed, but both amounts seem excessive.
Inappropriate interaction with my son
At the buffet on Wednesday evening, my 13-year-old son, who loves sushi, saw a large piece of raw tuna and used the provided tongs to place it on his plate. There was no sign indicating that the tuna was for display only or should not be eaten.
A male server approached him, pushed his arm aside, said something in Spanish that my son could not understand, took his plate, and removed the tuna. The interaction was unnecessarily physical and rude. The server should not have touched my son or handled the situation so aggressively.
Additionally, the tuna had already been on my son’s plate alongside other food. The server then returned it to the display, which raised serious sanitation concerns.
Food quality
Outside of the buffet, we found much of the food to be fairly basic and underwhelming. I had heard this might be the case, but I was still disappointed to find it true. Again, the buffet was the exception and was consistently very good.
