Fantastic day at Xceret
We had a wonderful experience at Xcaret and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico. It was a fantastic full-day experience with so much to see and do.
Some of the highlights for us were seeing the parrots, the beautiful beach, and the colourful cemetery, which gave us a lovely glimpse into Mexican culture and traditions. The show was absolutely amazing and was definitely one of our favourite parts of the day. It beautifully showcased Mexican history, culture, music and traditions and felt like a truly special experience.
We also enjoyed seeing the jaguars, although they were quite far away, so unfortunately we couldn't get a very good view of them. The butterfly area was lovely, although we were expecting to see a greater variety of butterflies and only saw one type during our visit.
The food was good, but considering this is a full-day experience, I feel guests should be able to eat twice or at least have access to the included drinks more than once. The additional experiences are also quite expensive, so we only purchased one.
One disappointment was that we couldn't experience the Torre Escénica because of the weather. We were also unable to enjoy the included view from the tower in Cancún because it was under maintenance at the time. Unfortunately, this meant we missed both experiences that were included in our tickets, which was disappointing.
The site is very clean and beautiful.
Overall, though, we had a fantastic day at Xcaret. There is so much to explore, the surroundings are beautiful, and the cultural show was truly spectacular. Despite a few things we missed or would have liked to see improved, we really enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend Xcaret to others visiting Mexico.
