Amazing family trip
This is an amazing place to stay. The food was delicious and the building was beautiful. It was very peaceful since there wasn’t many guests, which was really relaxing.
Esperanza and Cinthia hosted great art workshops, including clay making, water painting, and other art activities. I went to their workshop everyday there.
Luis provided amazing service at the pool. He made sure my family had everything we needed and made sure we had an amazing time.
We also did a morning maya salutation and yoga. That was such a great spiritual start to the day.
Food was delicious at every spot. There’s only three restaurants and the pool bar so the food might be repetitive for a longer stay. However, it was perfect for our four night stay.
The staff made this trip the best!!! ✨
Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria was amazing! The food was excellent! The rooms were beautiful! The pools were great! The gym had what we needed! The beach was good the first day but then the seaweed got bad the following days but we still had the best time! One of our favorite things to do was the craft time! They had excellent options and Esperanza & Cinthia were the best! They are so creative, patient & helpful! We just love our crafts we made so much & we will keep them forever! Honestly what made our trip so great was the staff! From the moment we arrived! Antonio greeted us so nicely then Fernando was so kind & inviting when we entered the hotel. Manuel helped us with our bags & we saw him most days. He was so helpful! We loved talking to him! We got to see Antonio most days too but sadly missed him on our last day. We loved talking to him as well! Cesar in concierge was so helpful & went above and beyond! Chaya restaurant had the best food! The hostess Kara was so joyful, helpful and amazing with kids! The chicken dish at JA’O was the best we have ever had! The pool bar had amazing drinks & tacos! The pool attendants were just so great. They went above & beyond as well! We will miss this place & are so bummed they are going to be adults only because we totally would come back. The staff really makes us want to come back! ❤️🥹

An absolute must-stay!
The Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya is an absolute must-stay property, offering customer service that is above reproach. The entire staff consistently goes out of their way to make you feel valued, making this the best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. A special thank you to Sebastian and Emmanuel from the Peacock Alley bar—they are exceptional bartenders with wonderfully friendly personalities who truly go above and beyond to make you feel special as a guest.

This is hands down the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at when it comes to hospitality! Every single employee is kind, soft-spoken, and genuinely welcoming.
A special mention to Laura Lopez, our housekeeper, who is incredibly organized, meticulous, and exceptionally clean. I’ve never seen anyone maintain such a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Marcos Urquin was equally impressive—very professional, prompt, and efficient in his work.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about. From the hospitality to the cleanliness and service, everything was outstanding.
A well-deserved 10/10 experience in every way! Highly recommend this hotel.
