The charming beach hotel is strategically located in the heart of the hotel zone in Cancun. It is surrounded by the most famous nightclubs in the city as well as several restaurants and shops. The hotel is located just 25 km from Cancun International Airport. Renovated in 2011, the hotel has 204 well-equipped rooms as well as 4 restaurants and 3 bars offering gourmet food and imported drinks. The air-conditioned club resort welcomes its guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the upper floors. Further facilities include a children's playground, kids' club and a cafe. Each of the well-equipped guest rooms features an en suite bathroom and a private terrace or balcony. A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service at El Comal
The rooms were really nice and comfortable, and the staff treated us very well throughout our stay. They always made sure our room was clean and that we had fresh towels available, which we really appreciated.
The food was also great! In my opinion, the Mexican restaurant, El Comal, was especially good. Our server, Jesus, was amazing! He was super friendly, welcoming, and always on the move, working extremely hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. You can tell he takes his job seriously and puts a lot of effort into providing great service. He definitely made our dining experience even better!
Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you to the staff, especially Jesus, for making our stay enjoyable!
Fantastic and relaxing experience
Had an amazing week at this place. This is my 2nd time and they really went out the way for my family and myself. You sincerely will feel welcomed here. Which by far is the best service I've ever received. I Would like to specifically thank the following staff:

Beautiful Ocean View
We had a nice stay at Sunset Royal Beach Resort. The staff was exceptional, the beach was beautiful, and the location was perfect for exploring Cancun. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We both had Covid when we got home. There is a doctor on site and did give my husband medication, it was not cheap. We had a renovated room and had no problems and also had a beautiful ocean view.🌴☀️

Vacationing at Sunset Royal resort.
Sunset Royal Resort is very nice place to go for vacation.The food are good servers are friendly. But I hope they can make the margaritas and pinapadala taste better it’s tasteless. The butler’s are excellent Rafael, Joseph and Edgar. Their services comes from their hearts.Overall i will recommend to a friends.

Staff excellent the resort not in great condition
Recently stayed for two weeks on at the Sunset Marina and one week Sunset Royal Beach club. This is our 4th time visiting and have been members since 2006. Both resorts need to be updated. Our rooms were OK but cracked tiles, lights not working, painting, update furniture, etc. Beach resort had A/C issues and one broken elevator- thankful it was not busy time of year. The Positive is the Staff. Both resorts offer amazing service!!!! The team works so very hard to make sure you have everything you need during your stay for a relaxing vacation . Jesus and Allen both exceptional servers. Lobby Bartender Salomon always remembered our drink order. Many more wonderful servers at both resorts and sadly unable to remember their names. Another note: There was a shortage of wine at the Marina for some reason. My niece was interested in visiting Sunset Royal but we suggested the lovely resorts nearby until Sunset decides to make repairs. Embarrassing.
