Best in Cancun so far…
We visited Sun palace on a day pass after touring Moon Palace. We thoroughly enjoyed our day pass. Hence why we returned this year to stay for the full experience. First the customer service was far better than the other resorts we have been to in Cancun. Second the facility is perfect size for us. No golf carts to get around. You can walk everywhere you choose to go to. The food was good. The shows were great. Especially “The Mind Experience!” I can’t say enough about my week. Looking forward to our next visit.
Extremely relaxing, fun and delightful

Magda kept our room perfect.
Miriam and Mireya made the spa experience incredible.
Ignacio was an awesome bartender.
Daniela was our favorite on the entertainment team. Ivan was awesome and fun too. Volleyball in the pool was our favorite.
Julian was our favorite waiter. He was in the Italian restaurant.
At Fuego I can’t remember the waiters name, but their recommendation of the steak was awesome.
And the staff at the coffee bar was always happy and helpful.
Another Great Week at the Sun
Consistently the best place for a relaxing vacation in Cancun. The accomodations, service, and food are always superb! I have been going to the Sun Palace for over 20 years... it never fails to please!

Lowest level still need to be treated like part of the Moon Palace family!!!
We are currently Elite members and this was our first time using our membership. The check in was great and we loved the hotel it was smaller than the initial one we visited before membership. The customer service at front desk was great at first but once it became clear that we would not be upgrading our membership everything became nonexistent. The restaurant experience at the buffet area was all but rude they forgot about me and left me unattended to on several occasions and a few times I didn't get service for drinks until I had already finished a few plates. It is a constant need for new member or upgrades but totally dismiss the new members all together you truly at the lowest level and that's how they treat you. We were new to it and only had our membership for a year and at this point we don't want to upgrade because they didn't show us any love or good service for us to want to. My son went to the new one in the DR and had a great time but Sun Palace dropped the ball we will never go back there and we hope and pray going to another moon Palace resort will be better to us. I really hate Sun Palace was our first experience because it was a disappointing vacation that we really needed.
Fantastic Anniversary Trip
This was our anniversary trip for my wife and I. We had a fantastic week long trip. 15 minutes from the airport. Everything from the Concierge to the entertainment staff, bartenders, cleaning staff were great. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. This time of year it is less crowded which we liked. We met a lot of great people.
