Edwin and Eduin are the best instructors ever? They have a lot of patience and treat you like family. I can’t wait to come back and do it again! They are super friendly and helpful . They help you become the best surfer you can be
Pope at wired was very nice and interactive. The restaurants and restaurants of resort is also great.
Honestly I love coming to this resort. It always has lots of activities and you’ll never be bored. The Flo rider has been a highlight, Edwin Carmona (I don’t remember the last name) was super fun on the Flo rider and taught us lots of tricks and always hyped us up. I am giving it 4 stars because unfortunately the food wasn’t great this trip. We come every year and were disappointed this time around. Our concierge Krishna devi was also not kind towards us which left a bad taste in our mouth. We will never have her help us in the future. Although Raul and Felix were outstanding and we love them and look forward to seeing them every time we come. Anyways overall this place is amazing. I would recommend.
The Grand was an awesome family hotel. So much to do for kids especially the waterpark. The food was great. The only bummer was that the time of year we went corresponded with seaweed season so the beach was pretty much unusable and there was an odor to the air. I was not aware of this phenomenon before travel so I would pick a different time of year if we were to return. Originally we were at the sunset hotel (there are 3 different ones on the property) which we were disappointed in so thats why we moved the the Grand. The sunset is kind of old and run down with less amenities. Overall I would travel here again. Just be aware that they are going to try to sell you on a vacation club membership. If you go to the presentation you can get some free stuff like resort credits. But keep in mind the resort credits aren't as good of a deal as they seem. There's a limited amount of things you can do with them and we didn't even use half of ours.
