Great staff! Dining experience could be better
Nice facilities, friendly staff, but the dining experience is mediocre. 1.5-2 hours wait time to get into restaurants and for the food to arrive. Staff at restaurants looked over worked.

A Wonderful Stay At The Hyatt Ziva Cancun ~ And A Special Shout Out To Cathy!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Hyatt Ziva Cancun while attending my nieces wedding and it was such a memorable experience!
One of the highlights of my stay was meeting an absolutely wonderful fitness instructor named Cathy who was a guest instructor from Utah. I participated in two of her Tighten and Tone classes as well as her Water Zumba class. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! Her energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude were contagious!
The rooms, food, and staff were all exceptional. I will definitely be visiting there again!

It’s the People That Make The Place
There is a well-known research article in my field of HR that’s titled “It’s the People that Make the Place”. Indeed, this is exactly what cane to mind after staying here for 7 days and interacting with the staff. They really do make the place. The service is top notch. The French restaurant was outstanding. El Mercado was really good. Entertainment was top notch. My only critique would be regarding the rooms being a tad outdated (there were spots on the mirrors in the room and bedroom so it might be time for a renovation). FYI, we were in the ocean front view rooms.

Overall great. Service was good. We would have loved a bit more for getting VIP- nothing but a bogus coupon book and a banner on our door. One server, Alfredo went above and beyond for our day though. Kidz Club is for littles- my kids 7 and 9 were too old for their center. Hotel clean. Gym nice. Lack of restaurants frustrating. When one restaurant is being remodeled and the other is 18+, our party of 7 ended up eating at the same restaurants multiple times. Overall, food and drinks were good. Bred dolphins kept in captivity was sad. Lots of going up and down stairs- which we didn’t mind, but for our elderly parents it was difficult, elevators were even slower than them on the stairs. Friendly staff on the dock-side pools. Beautiful views, basic rooms
Hyatt Ziva
This was our fourth visit to Ziva. The customer service is the best and keeps us coming back, from Hervic at the pool to Luis at La Bastille. Great food for an all inclusive. Beautiful water. Definitely recommend.
