Carefree relaxation
All inclusive was the right choice for our family's 4 night stay. 4 households, 14 people, ages ranging from 9yo-48yo. The food was mediocre, but definitely good enough, and having so many options was fantastic so that everyone could find something they enjoyed. The spirits must be watered down bc we drank quite a bit, but no one ever got drunk, which I actually enjoyed since my days weren't ruined by belligerence or hangovers. I really loved Juana Margarita (though the name is suspect) they offer a variety of fresh fruits to personalize your cocktail. I highly recommend a spicy watermelon margarita! Two separate days we had cabanas on the beach (#16 is the best - trust) and our butler Daniel gave such amazing facials! Our food/beverage guy, Natan, was incredible! So friendly and attentive and made time for conversation as well. It's a nice touch to learn things about the employees on a personal level! My teens had a great time getting to do whatever without having to worry about costs adding up or waiting for anyone else to be ready. Great spot for families who don't mind separating and doing their own thing! The price is a bit steep for this to be a regular travel destination, but I would return if finances allowed.

Hyatt Ziva celebrations
Our stay was truly unforgettable! We came to celebrate my a dear friends 50th birthday, which also coincided with my best friends 19th wedding anniversary, and the team made the occasion incredibly special.
We would especially like to recognize Sofia at El Mercado. She went above and beyond to create a memorable celebration. She arranged a beautifully decorated dinner table, surprised my friends with a delicious cake, and even had a bottle of champagne delivered to their room. They were completely surprised and genuinely touched by the thoughtful gesture. It turned an already special trip into a celebration they will never forget.
Sofia’s warmth, attention to detail, and genuine desire to make guests feel special truly stood out. Her exceptional service reflects the high standard of hospitality at the resort.
The resort itself was beautiful, the food was excellent, and everyone on the staff was welcoming and attentive. Thank you for helping us celebrate such important milestones in a way that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this resort and look forward to returning.

Family & friends first trip to Mexico
We just got back from Mexico and this is probably the fastest survey I ever completed. Could not wait to rave about our experience at Hyatt Ziva. Was the absolute best decision ever, after months of researching and planning. We were a family of six traveling with two other families. The resort is breathtaking. So clean, so scenic and expansive, yet comfortable. The activities and experiences first rate - take advantage of all of them. We especially loved the premium tequila tasting led by the expert Mario; aqua cycling with Eduardo, and the teppanyaki experience at Moongate. The vibe at the pool with the foam party as well as Rock night were perfect on our last day. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Food was great and drinks were flowing - whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. Angel and Delphino who provided beach service deserve to be recognized as does Eloy, the waiter at Habaneros. His smile and service were unmatched. So appreciative of all the staff, no matter what their position. We were always met with smiles and a response of "my pleasure" which felt truly genuine. Was our first trip to Mexico and by far has been our best vacation yet. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Victor and Hugo!
Me and my family have been here 6 times!! It’s the experience that keeps us coming back. Victor and Hugo were so amazing this trip in hosting our pier cabana, their entire team was beyond wonderful. Getting close to the staff is the best part of the experience, everyone here is genuinely the kindest soul. Please tell Hugo the Rains family is praying for his recovery ❤️
