4th of July stay was extraordinary!
This July, my husband and I stayed at the resort for the 3rd time in 2 years. We absolutely LOVE the resort for many reasons, but especially because of the staff. The staff is wonderful. They are so responsive to your needs and requests and they go out of their way to make your stay incredible. Notably, Carlos the bartender at the Serenity pool is fabulous! Julio brought our drinks to our swim-out and he is the kindest person. Our butler, Denisee, is a treasure! She was so thoughtful and decorated our room for our wedding anniversary. The food is spectacular--room service was amazing and we had the filet twice and it was outstanding. The resort is immaculately clean. We had the pleasure of being there for the US 4th of July and attended their first 4th of July celebration on the beach with an incredible buffet that must have had a buffet that stretched for 100 feet. We will be back to this resort many times in the future. Thank you, Haven Riviera for making us feel like royalty.

Amazing Staff and Delicious Food
I tagged along with my husband on a work trip and I'm so glad I did! This resort was amazing. The staff was so incredibly kind and the food was delicious! There were two of us hanging around the pool after going to the gym and we were so taken care of. Paloma and Diana were excited to see us each day and kept the drinks coming. Alberto was a joy whenever we saw him at dinner. Wanting to make sure we had reservations set and ready for the next day. Whether you are looking for a place to go for business or pleasure you won't go wrong here!
Unforgettable time in Cancun
It was my first time ever traveling out of the USA and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! The property was absolutely stunning. The room was clean and comfortable and make sure you get a swim out room if you love water! The property was well taken care of. They had maintenance people keeping everything in tip top shape everyday. The service from all the staff from the bars, the pool, the room service, and the restaurants was top notch! Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful! With the serenity package having the butler made you feel like you were a king! Enrique our butler never said no to any of our requests and was responsive to every question we asked, even on his day off! The only complaints was some new construction by the building and being a late riser it was a little annoying but was manageable and the sargassum/seaweed problem on the beach but that is out of their control. I would highly suggest this property if you’re looking for adults only, great service, friendly staff, good food, and well maintained property don’t look any further!
Great couples resort
Really great experience as always at Haven. Very clean inside and out and friendly helpful people. Paloma was our poolside server and she always made sure we had what we needed. The staff make this resort so good.

Wonderful Trip

Staff The staff is top notch, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. They truly wanted you to enjoy your stay.
Rooms We upgraded to a Serenity Ocean Front room. Great view, very roomy, large bathroom, very clean and comfortable. Daily house cleaning perfect
Serenity Club Worth every penny, so many perks, number 1 our butler Nacho, he was amazing. He took care of everything and checked on us regularly. Thank you!! The included round of golf was great.
Pools There is a pool for every taste - party pool in the middle, circular laid back pool and the Serenity pool for total quiet and relaxation. Service at each was wonderful, thank you Antonio, Angelica and Ernesto.
Food Overall the food was very good. Asian restaurant was okay, Italian restaurant very good, but our favorite was the Mexican restaurant. The chicken mole was amazing. Some people complained about the steaks they got, it I don’t go to Mexico for steak. Food at the pool was good, the ceviche and beef tacos were great. Only complaint, the peso needed more flavor and zip. We did do room service for breakfast, which was hit or miss. Some communication issues, but nothing big. Did the buffet for breakfast one morning, lots of options and the food was good. Didn’t do ollios, they require pants and I don’t do pants in Mexico.
Gyms There are two gyms. The ground level gym was okay had everything I needed for a workout. Serenity gym pretty limited.
Seaweed It’s seaweed season. Do your research. They worked at it every day but the onslaught of seaweed was relentless. There was a smell, but nothing overpowering. A minor inconvenience. If you want beach action avoid cancun during the summer. Seaweed is just a part of it.
Overall a great time. Was just what we wanted, a place of quiet serenity. We’ll be back. Thanks to everyone. Tip your servers well
