Great stay at the Sofitel Palm
I stayed at the Sofitel Palm at the end of August. It was my first time staying here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff and service was excellent and the standard I have come to expect as normal for Dubai. There were many pools and well attended by lifeguards. The beach was clean and well kept. In particular I would like to call out the following experiences:
Great service from Shahid at World Eatery. Very attentive service and would highly recommend
Nang and Sebastian at Porter House who looked after us for my birthday dinner.
Umesh and Teja at the buffet restaurant, again great service.
Helen and. Charnie from the Spa who helped my mum to get in the hydrotherapy pool. Went above and beyond and physically got in with her as she struggled to get in and out by herself due to a knee injury. I would perhaps suggest changing the ladder as its not convenient for older people to climb down into the pool. Helen and Charnie went above and beyond and made sure my mum did not miss out on the hydrotherapy pool.
Mosaraf- Pool and Beach staff- no request was too big. Great service and was always happy to help even in the August heat he had a smile.
Rajni at Maui beach restaurant - very friendly and service was exceptional. Went out of her way to order food from the room service menu as my mum wasn’t feeling well and wanted soup which wasnt on the Maui restaurant menu.
Thank you to Meryl for the best massage. She has magical hands and has an amazing technique. Honestly never felt so relaxed and probably one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I have had a lot!
The only negatives was that check in wasn't great. It felt rushed and the resort wasn't explained properly, i.e where things were located. We arrived early at the hotel, in time for breakfast and we had to pay for this. At other hotels breakfast has been complimentary especially since we paid for half board and then upgraded to full board. You would think the hotel could accomadate one days free breakfast which was disappointing. Another negative is the location, you feel quite isolated due to the location. The hotel is on the northern tip of the palm and there are no shops within walking distance other than the couple that are onsite on the hotel (which are expensive). You need to have a car or get taxis to go out. As long as you know this when you book your stay then the location shouldn't be an issue.
All in all a good stay. I went with my son and mother and we all agreed that we loved the stay which was made even better because of the kindness an friendliness of all the staff.

Wonderful service, great hotel!
Dhiraj from the Premier Lounge team looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay at the Sofitel. A wonderful hotel with amazing service, and Dhiraj’s warm and attentive approach made us feel truly at home. He was a credit to the hotel and helped make our stay even more enjoyable.
The room cleaning was excellent throughout our stay. The different members of the housekeeping team were all very attentive, thorough and did a fantastic job.

Signature palm suit
We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Sofitel The Palm! From the beautiful surroundings and luxurious atmosphere to the warm hospitality, everything was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Sangam and Sambhu, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and full of beautiful memories. Their kindness, attentiveness, and friendly service made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Sofitel The Palm is a perfect place for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’re leaving with wonderful memories and would definitely love to come back again! Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience!

What a wonderful, wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully taken care of. The hotel itself is stunning, but what truly made our stay special was the outstanding attention to detail.
A special mention to Vinayak who was absolutely fantastic. He kept our room spotless and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His attention to detail, friendly attitude, and genuine care made such a difference to our stay. The beautiful towel art and thoughtful little touches were such a lovely surprise! ❤️
It is rare to come across someone who takes such genuine pride in their work, and Vinayak is definitely one of those people. His service made us feel truly valued and cared for.

A Great break at Sofitel the palm
My first impression wasn't the best due to an issue at reception, but Bassel, the Duty Manager, handled the situation very professionally and really turned things around. I really appreciated the way he handled the situation
The Premier Lounge was probably the highlight of my stay. It's different from the usual Club Millésime setup I've experienced at other Sofitel hotels, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The whole team there were excellent, very attentive and always happy to help. Also a special thanks to Thetphoo at Maui Restaurant. She was lovely and provided great service.
I stayed in a Prestige Suite and really enjoyed it. The suite is huge and beautifully designed, with an amazing view and a very large terrace. Some of the furniture and smaller details are starting to show their age, but nothing major. The terrace was great too, although Dubai weather didn't exactly encourage me to spend much time outside 😅
I was travelling solo, and the hotel was quite busy and definitely more family-oriented, with quite a few children around, but I still really enjoyed the suite and my time at the Premier Lounge.
