We had a wonderful evening at Frevo. The Brazilian churrascaria experience was fantastic, with a great selection of delicious, perfectly cooked meats served continuously at the table. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
What made the evening even more special was the excellent service from Owrango, Irfan, Dilshan, and Ushman. They were all incredibly friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the entire dinner. Their warm hospitality really made a difference and made the experience feel personal and memorable.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was excellent, especially the grilled meats and pineapple.
Thank you, Owrango, Irfan, Dilshan, and Ushman, for making our evening so enjoyable. We truly appreciated your wonderful service and would definitely come back! Highly recommended.
We booked less than 48 hours ago through booking.com to travel with my (as of yet unborn) baby 4 months from now to attend a wedding in Dubai. We’ve since learned unfortunately that the wedding is not taking place which was unforeseen. The cancellation charge across our 3 rooms is nearly $1,000. We immediately got in touch with Fairmont the palm and explained the situation, and explained that booking.com are happy to waive any cancellation fee so long as the hotel is (this has even been shown to them in writing from booking.com). Of course no travel insurance covers such a circumstance.
However, Fairmont the Palm have been unwilling to waive the fees for a booking made less than 48 hours ago for a trip 4 months from now, and are insistant on keeping the $1,000. While this is their right, it shows a complete lack of understanding or willingness to help their guests. Us holding a couple of rooms for LESS THAN 48 HOURS for dates 4 months away obviously has no effect on their business. I can only imagine how this attitude would extend to the way they treat their guests.
They are hiding behind an insistence that it is up to booking.com, despite being shown in writing from booking.com that it is fully up to Fairmont the palm. I am extremely disappointed with this as you might imagine, especially as someone who has stayed in fairmont hotels worldwide and even held my wedding reception in one.
I would suggest avoiding this hotel unless you want to be served with this lack of understanding, and an attitude where they will take whatever they can from you.
A lovely afternoon tea with a wonderful ambiance
Would like to express my appreciation to house keeping team, Him and Omis. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Lovely hotel and great location on the trunk of the palm. Lovely and clean, great food selection in main restaurant and themed restaurants too. Always easy to find sunbeds round the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom had a huge bath and great rain shower - perfect after a day in the August heat. We would love to return. Every weekend they had a DJ at the pool so there was a lively atmosphere. We only ate in the main buffet restaurant and pool bar even though HB option enabled you to dine at the themed restaurants but we did have a drink in the sports bar. Good location on West Palm Beach opposite other beach bars and restaurants if you wanted to wander and not far from the shopping mall. Easy to get taxis outside to other places. First time visiting this hotel and we look forward to returning.
