Exceptional hotel with exceptional service
This hotel is truly exceptional. The staff are incredible and really go over and beyond to ensure everything you need is on hand. We stayed in a beautiful suite and enjoyed the service in the club lounge. The team there are outstanding and genuinely cannot do enough for you. The rooms are beautiful and again have everything you need on hand. With regards to dining options the main hotel restaurant is outstanding and the chef was incredible with my husband who is gluten free and was able to show him round the restaurant and at the same time offer multiple dishes to him to try, this was really appreciated. Also Malibu is great if you fancy a snack and some Americano dining options, staff there are also great.
The beach is beautiful and Nobu is great if you prefer an adults only beach club option. If you are travelling with a family the main pool is great and offers great service and comfortable beds with cabanas on offer if you prefer.
Also a special shout out to Oliver the general Manager, he’s a complete gentleman and always makes the time to say hello. All in all this hotel is flawless and totally deserves its 5 star rating, I do have to mention again the staff at the club lounge there are exceptional and highly recommend if you can to upgrade to club lounge access, as it included drinks from morning to evening, along with breakfast if you prefer a quiet option, along with afternoon tea and evening small plate options.

A Disappointing First Impression at Atlantis The Royal
Having heard so much about Atlantis The Royal and its reputation for exceptional hospitality, I was genuinely looking forward to experiencing the hotel for the first time.
Unfortunately, my arrival has been rather underwhelming.
I booked a Queen Club Room at the standard rate, with an upgrade benefit subject to availability. Upon check-in, I was informed that the only upgrade considered was a room with an improved view. As this was unavailable, no alternative could be offered.
What made this particularly disappointing was that several higher room categories, including suites, appeared to remain available for booking.
I fully appreciate that upgrades are subject to availability and that certain categories may be excluded. However, at a property of this calibre, I had hoped for a little more flexibility, thoughtfulness and attention to the guest experience.
True luxury, in my view, is not simply defined by extraordinary architecture, beautiful interiors or impressive facilities. It is reflected in the small gestures, the willingness to go beyond expectations and the ability to make guests feel genuinely valued.
Perhaps my expectations were too high, but for a hotel with such an exceptional reputation, I had anticipated a more memorable welcome.
It is still early in my stay, and I sincerely hope the experience ahead will reflect the standards of hospitality for which Atlantis The Royal is so widely celebrated.
