An Absolutely Incredible 5-Night Stay – Exceptional Hospitality, Amazing Food & Outstanding Staff!
Our five-night stay at Taj Dubai on Burj Khalifa Road was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, everything was simply perfect. The hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine warmth of the staff made us feel incredibly welcome.
A few exceptional individuals deserve special recognition:
Mark – Travel Arrangements: Extremely helpful in organizing our sightseeing and making sure we enjoyed our time exploring Dubai.
Harpal – Outside by the Gate: What a wonderful gentleman! Always had a smile on his face and never once missed greeting us. His warmth and friendliness made every arrival and departure special.
Kriti – Reception: Incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and professional. A wonderful example of Taj's exceptional hospitality.
Prijit – Concierge: Absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed throughout our stay.
And then there was the FOOD! WOW! The breakfast buffet was simply outstanding. The authentic Indian flavors and incredible variety literally transported us back to India! Every meal was a delightful experience, and the quality was exceptional.
We had booked two rooms and requested that they be next to each other so we could be close to our adult children. The hotel accommodated our request without the slightest hesitation, which we truly appreciated.
Although we stayed for five nights, every single night felt special. It's rare to find a hotel where the service, food, hospitality, and overall experience come together so beautifully.
A heartfelt thank you to Mark, Harpal, Kriti, Prijit, and the entire Taj Dubai team for making our stay so memorable!
I cannot recommend Taj Dubai highly enough. If you're visiting Dubai and looking for genuine five-star hospitality, exceptional Indian cuisine, and a hotel that truly cares about its guests, look no further.

Title: Third Visit to Taj Dubai — Repeated Service Failures, Incorrect Billing and Unresolved Refund
I have stayed at Taj Dubai three times. Unfortunately, my most recent visit, ending October 17, 2026, left me deeply disappointed in both the service standards and the way my billing complaint has been handled.
I booked two prepaid reservations through Chase Sapphire Reserve, paying a total of US$1,425.83 before arrival. At checkout, the hotel provided an invoice showing AED 673 in outstanding dining expenses.
However, while at the airport preparing to return to the United States, I discovered an unexpected transaction of approximately US$830.94 on my credit card.
This was extremely concerning because my hotel accommodation had already been prepaid.
I immediately contacted Taj Dubai and requested an explanation, a complete reconciliation of the charges and a refund of any incorrectly collected amount.
On October 18, Assistant Front Office Manager Rajib Dey acknowledged in writing that an additional AED 3,051 had been charged to my card in error. He apologized and stated that the reversal had been processed.
As of October 19, the credit has not appeared in my account, and I have not received a confirmed date for its return.
Service problems during my stay
The experience had already been disappointing before the billing incident.
On my first night in Room 1603, loud music and party noise continued until approximately 3 a.m., preventing me from getting a proper night's sleep. After I complained, I was moved to Room 2205.
In the new room, basic housekeeping problems continued. Sufficient towels were repeatedly missing, the conditioner dispenser was empty until October 15, and the fruit basket was not provided on several days.
I raised these matters with Duty Manager Saif Khan, who was courteous, professional and helpful. He contacted housekeeping, and the service eventually improved. The hotel also arranged complimentary airport transportation, which I appreciated.
Nevertheless, luxury hospitality should not require repeated complaints to obtain basic room amenities or a peaceful night's sleep.
Management's response and compensation
Following my formal complaint, management apologized and offered an upgrade to a higher room category with complimentary Taj Club benefits on a future visit.
I subsequently requested a defined compensation arrangement in writing, including a premium suite or room upgrade for a minimum six-night stay, complimentary meals, applicable amenities, and clear booking and validity conditions.
As of October 19, I have not received a written response confirming those requested terms.
I have also submitted a complaint to Dubai Consumer Protection concerning my experience and the incorrect charge. I am awaiting the outcome.
Final assessment
What should have been a relaxing Dubai vacation became a series of service complaints, followed by an alarming billing discrepancy during my journey home.
The hotel deserves credit for acknowledging its billing mistake and for the assistance provided by Mr. Saif Khan. But the acknowledgment does not change the inconvenience, time lost, stress or outstanding credit.
I expected much more from Taj Dubai, especially as a returning guest.
My advice to prospective guests is to request an itemized final bill, compare it carefully against prepaid reservations, and monitor credit card activity after checkout.
I hope management takes these concerns seriously and resolves them appropriately.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Dubai, Business Bay, and our overall experience was truly excellent. The hospitality, warmth, and personal attention from the staff made our stay even more memorable.
A special mention to Priyanshi from the front desk, who took exceptional care of us and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay
We would especially like to appreciate Khevna from the Taj Club Lounge, who went above and beyond to look after us, particularly during breakfast. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel truly special every day.
Anurag, Rushiil were equally wonderful, and the entire Club Lounge team deserves appreciation for their outstanding hospitality.
What stood out most was the personal touch and the way everyone made us feel so welcomed and cared for. This is exactly the kind of hospitality that makes Taj special.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team, especially Kehevna and priyanshi for making our stay such a lovely and memorable experience. We look forward to visiting again!
