Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi

We had a fantastic stay at Park Hyatt Saadiyat Island and would happily return.

We stayed in room 607, which had a beautiful sea view and was great overall. The beach and setting are absolutely stunning, and the food throughout our stay was excellent, particularly at breakfast and dinner.

What really stood out, though, were the people. A special mention has to go to Karim Hassousu, the Front Office Manager, who was exceptional throughout our stay. He was incredibly attentive, professional and genuinely made us feel very well looked after.

I’d also like to recognise Karolina, who looked after us wonderfully across the restaurants. She was fantastic, warm, attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. Both Karim and Karolina are a real credit to the hotel.

There are just a few areas where I feel the hotel could improve. The dessert selection at dinner could be better; good choices, but unfortunately they were not executed well, and the rooms are starting to feel slightly dated and would probably benefit from a refresh in the near future.

I would also strongly encourage the hotel to enforce a clearer dress code at breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we noticed some guests arriving in extremely revealing or inappropriate clothing that, in my opinion, wasn’t suitable for a five-star restaurant environment. Park Hyatt Saadiyat is a beautiful, high-end property, and I think a reasonable dress code, politely but consistently enforced, would help maintain the classy atmosphere and ensure the dining environment feels appropriate and comfortable for all guests.

These are relatively minor points in what was otherwise an excellent stay. Beautiful beach, great food, wonderful sea views and, most importantly, outstanding people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Incredible stay in this superb resort. Third time already in the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi and this is the same pleasure. Superb rooms, incredible infrastructure, very green, delicious buffet (breakfast and dinner). The staff are incredible and always striving to ensure your well-being, whether at the front desk (with Nurla and Adya), in the housekeeping (with Anuj and Ramohla), by the pool or in the restaurant. Superb beach (probably one of the best in the UAE). Tips: Distribution of ice cream at 11am and 3pm 👍 We went there to celebrate the birthday of my wife, and we had a few nice surprises 🥳

The people are the reason I keep coming back

I've been traveling for decades and have stayed in a lot of excellent hotels, so I don't hand out praise lightly. Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island is in a class of its own, and it has become my first choice whenever I can get away.

I have to start with the pool team. Chandan, Arafat, Aromal, Ashwin, Anuj, Melvin and Pankaj were attentive and warm in a way you simply can't train. Working outdoors all day is no easy job, yet they always made it look effortless. They were quick, reliable and gracious with every guest, and always with a smile. The pool and the architecture are beautiful, of course, but it's people like them who make a stay unforgettable. They deserve a special place in this review.

Dinner at The Café was a highlight every single evening. The buffet changed from night to night, and the variety was impressive. Everything was fresh, beautifully seasoned and of excellent quality, and the dessert selection was just as good. I really couldn't have asked for more. A big thank you to Aarya, Aliya, Rinat, Fenzar, Reda and Bikram for the refined service that made those evenings so memorable.

At the front desk, Mohit and Sawera made check-in and check-out a real pleasure. Courteous, professional and efficient, they made me feel welcome from the first minute to the last.

The valet team was outstanding. Whatever the time of day, I was greeted with a smile, they knew my car and my routine, and arriving or leaving was always effortless.

Housekeeping also deserves recognition. Their work is discreet, but it shapes a stay more than most guests realize. My room was impeccable every day, with small, thoughtful touches that showed great attention to detail.

What stayed with me most is how sincere the kindness here is. Day after day, I watched these teams treat every guest with the same patience and professionalism. That reflects well on them, and on the managers who lead them.

To the management of Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi: your teams set the standard. When I talk about what excellent service looks like, this hotel is the example I use. I'll be back, and I'm already looking forward to it.
