Uday Samudra Hotel

I have visited uday samudra leisure beach hotel & spa for an onevday over night stay on 19.10.2026.The recption was very crowded during check in time. Even though we checked in late around 3.30pm they takes some more time to allot the room number. We have booked lounge sea view suite. Since it was weekend holiday there was huge rush at reception. So itz alwaz better to check in before 2pm to aviod delay in allotment of rooms. The parking space inside the resort is less. But they have some yard near to keep vehicles near to resort. The reception staffs are good. The reception lobby is very asthetic and good so that we can spend some time there. But during rush hours i feel that the staff might not able to attend all the customers properly. One of the receptionist staff came with us and explained all the details of the resort and take us to the room.Even though we was little worried for waiting some time for alloting the room but after seeing the suite room which was good,spacious and loaded with all amenities we were happy. The view from room and balcony of suite room was very good. The long glass window was the beauty. Watching sun set with sound of tides was a bliss. However we can't enjoy sunrise there as the beach itself is west facing. The resort have different categories of rooms .The tea and coffee powder provided are of good quality. They provide free wifi access. The resort have a direct acess to beach. The sea is not deepeer at starting but it was noticed that inbetween high tides are coming. So if you are with kids don't leave them alone. Even though the resort is near to beach and people and walking in out frequently to beach the inside property is clean and well maintained. The pathway way on side of beach is good for walking. The property has three pools which is good and not so deep. They have kids pool attached along with main pools. As they have three pools during rush period also you can leisurely spend time inside any of the pool. The beach can be accessed upto 10.30pm. Itz better not to go sea near the beach because of we fall by hitting high tides we may draged to stone heaps kept on side of shore. There are three swimming pool in the resort which was open to all nationals. However out of three one pool can be used beyond 6.30pm upto 10.30pm. The pool was clean.There are many locations inside the resort for taking pics and move around. The resort have spa and gym facilities but lack kids play area. They have one big resturant mainly for buffet Customers and one medium and small restro bar resturant and a lounge at 4th floor. I have not visited the 4th floor longue. But the services in three resturant are good. Since the three resturant are located little bit away from sea and situated at ground floor the ambience of taking food viewing the sea was lacking for the three resturant. The staffs are very active in the resturant too.We have opted the package with breakfast and dinner. The buffet option was very good. They provided lot of veg and non veg dishes for the buffet. The food was good. I like the chicken tikka, fish tomato curry and fish slice I liked the most. The vegetarians also have good options. The veg fried rice was missing which my son wants but noodles was there. The morning buffet was also good. The taste was ok for items I have taken. Indian, continetal dishes was available. Lot of South and North Indian dishes were also there. Since it was very rush day the egg toaster brother and the attendends were found working very hard. The room service was also good whatever we ordered has came without any delay. The room was good but we noticed some leakage from toilet view glass bottom partition into the room. Hope Management kindly look into it. Overall it was a pleasant, good stay. The people who want a calm stay may not feel comfortable.
