Fragrant Nature: A beautiful, quaint hotel with an old world colonial charm, a cheerful ambience and a soul that is warm and generous Kerala! It was the best vacation stay ever. The staff is so efficient and welcoming. Right from the check-in one was made to feel special. Its location in the Fort Kochi area, gives a great advantage for those who want to explore Kochi on foot or hire the Tuk-Tuk. The entire hotel is immaculately clean. The rooms are beautiful. The library is well stocked and has a warm comfortable seating. The recreation hall has board games and Table Tennis. The swimming pool is well maintained. The food is delicious. The evening tea is open for all and you can have your tea, coffee with the evening special snack and cookies in the restaurant or the cafeteria. I am glad that we decided to stay in to enjoy the property on the second day of our stay instead of going out to visit a waterfall. It was the day the hotel staff was celebrating Onam and we got to witness and participate in the celebrations. They were all endearingly dressed in their finest festival attire, the girls wore henna on their palms and flowers in their hair. My help in making the Pookalam (The flower rangoli) was welcomed by the staff and when they realised that we had missed their performance of the ‘Thiruvathira’ the traditional Onam dance, they very happily redid the whole performance for us. We were invited to join them in their games and later we were blessed to be able to have authentic Sadhya, the special Onam meal with all of them. The manager, Hari and the Head chef personally guided us on how to have the Sadhya which is based on the science of Ayurveda. Each dish was delicious! With such a heavy lunch we wanted to have a late and light dinner which they obliged us with. The continental dishes were also amazing. It was with a heavy heart that we checked out the next day but our checkout experience was also made extremely special. A fresh cake was brought forth for us with ‘see you soon’ written on it! Never has one experience this! Special thanks to the manager Hari, to Gibson, and the staff, Saamipya, Rosalind, Reshma, Dev and the very talented and charismatic Shalini! It was the best vacation stay I have ever had! Keep up great work team and I sure hope to come soon again!!

A stunning hotel and a fabulous experience. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive, our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. We stayed during the Onam festival celebrations and observed a genuine family atmosphere amongst every member of the staff team.
