9th visit
We stayed at the club hotel dolphin for our 9th stay in July. As always we requested sea view villa room number 55 and we got it. The hotel is as good as ever and we spend our days between the quiet pool where Yamuna would arrange our sunbeds and the main pool where Tharindu, Suni and the animation team would entertain us with games throughout the day. We were offered a return guest meal in waves which we declined as the food in sands is now a lot better. We were there during 3 of the World Cup games and the staff put the England games on in the main bar even though some were at a stupid time in the night. Big shout out to the amazing bar staff. Gayashan, Yash, Ravindu, Indika, Heshan, Pushpa. You all are the reason that we return. Just booked for our 10th visit in October.

Great experience
Our stay at Club Hotel Dolphin exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. We stayed in a beautiful oceanfront villa, where we enjoyed stunning views and complete relaxation. The resort offers both a quiet pool for adults and a larger family pool, each with its own bar and excellent service. The all-inclusive experience was exceptional. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered an impressive variety of cuisines, including Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese, and international dishes. We especially enjoyed the live cooking stations, the fresh salad selection, the amazing dessert room, and the poolside snacks. The spa was one of the highlights of our stay. The massage was incredibly relaxing, and ending the treatment with a cup of green tea was the perfect finishing touch. The gym is also modern, clean, and very well equipped. Every evening there was live entertainment, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the resort. We would like to give special recognition to Fernando Sanka, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our vacation even more enjoyable. He was always available to help and made sure every detail was perfect. We celebrated my husband's birthday during our stay, and it couldn't have been a better place to unwind. We loved returning to our room each day to find creative towel decorations waiting for us. If you're looking for a relaxing all-inclusive resort with excellent food, outstanding service, and a beautiful beachfront location in Sri Lanka, Club Hotel Dolphin is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it and hope to return again!
Beautiful Stay with Standout Buffet, Shoutout to Chef Aruna and team!
We recently stayed at Club Hotel Dolphin and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The property itself is lovely, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
The Culinary Highlights The absolute standout of our trip was the dining experience. The buffet offers a fantastic, diverse spread with plenty of options to choose from. A massive shoutout to Executive Chef Aruna and his team —they are doing an absolutely excellent job! The quality and flavor of the food really elevated our stay.
Service & Hospitality While the kitchen team shines, the service at the restaurant could benefit from being a bit more attentive. When our designated waiter, Dharme, was on duty, we received great service. However, during one of our dinners when he was on his day off, the service dropped significantly. We found ourselves struggling just to get basic items like water, spoons, and general assistance.
Club Hotel Dolphin is a beautiful property with top-tier food, but consistent staff attentiveness in the dining area would take the experience from great to perfect. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning!
