An Unforgettable Stay at Anantara Kalutara Resort! ❤️
We had several options when planning our getaway, but after reading guest reviews, we chose Anantara Kalutara. After our experience, it will definitely be our first choice for our next family getaway!
Our stay was from October 10th to 11th. Despite the resort being extremely crowded, the exceptional hospitality exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived.
Special thanks to Shabeena Ameen for her warm welcome, wonderful room upgrade, hotel tour, and continuous care throughout our stay. Her hospitality was truly exceptional!
Sasupun from the restaurant deserves special recognition. His attentiveness was outstanding! When my wife felt uncomfortable with the heat while dining outside, he noticed without us asking and arranged a cooling unit. Such thoughtful care genuinely touched us.
Heartfelt appreciation to Ishara Dissanayake, the Duty Manager, for his prompt assistance, and Shamal Wanigasuriya, the Assistant Manager, for his professionalism and thoughtful care.
I also truly appreciate the wonderful way the team handled my birthday arrangements, making the occasion even more special and memorable.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire team was amazing!
The beautiful traditional farewell with music and dancing made us emotional. Our only regret was booking just one night!

A Beautiful Family Getaway to Remember

We had a wonderful time at Anantara Kalutara Resort with our family. The beautiful setting, peaceful atmosphere, and luxurious surroundings made our visit extra special. It was a lovely opportunity to relax, enjoy time together, and create unforgettable memories. A truly beautiful destination that we would love to visit again!

Good overall
Service was very attentive, and staff would go above and beyond for us, even creating cards and special meal requests at the buffet for us at the end of the stay. Mostly very quiet as we travelled in August, however busy on some days due to conferences, the staff handled this well though. Italian restaurant quality was amazing, some of the best we’d had at an all inclusive the first time we went, however quality and service times fell short the second time. We mentioned this at reception, and they offered us a private dining experience near the lagoon. Room cleaning was consistent, and all inclusive package included clothes cleaning which was a nice touch. Overall, very nice stay, made even better by staff such as Sasupun.
Anantara a place to visit again
Everything that you want in a holiday was experienced by us during our stay. The rooms were excellent, the atmosphere in and around the property was wonderful. The food was also great. Overall a fantastic stay. The staff was very helpful and understanding.
