Wonderful stay
We stayed here for just one night at the end of our trip to Sri Lanka, but the hotel team ensured it was a memorable one.
We were incredibly lucky and grateful to receive a room upgrade. The room was stunning, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and showering while looking out over the ocean was certainly an experience to remember!
We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the rooftop bar, which was lovely. I particularly appreciated that when the DJ music became a little too loud, the gentleman who served us listened to our feedback and kindly arranged for the volume to be turned down.
Before our departure, we even managed to squeeze in a quick dip in the infinity pool, which was absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. Although it was brief, it was the perfect way to end our Sri Lankan adventure. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

My recent stay at NH Hotel Colombo exceeded every expectation and was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my visit to Sri Lanka.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and handled with warmth and professionalism, instantly making me feel at home. Special thanks to the Front Office Manager and Business Development Executive who i understand just recently joined the team but who is a natural in hospitality, certainly with a bright future.
The hotel is perfectly located, providing easy access to many of Colombo's key attractions, business districts, and dining options. Whether you're travelling for business or leisure, the location is incredibly convenient.
The junior suite room was spacious, modern, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the stunning views of the city and ocean, which made the morning a pleasure to enjoy.
What truly sets NH Hotel Colombo apart is its people. Every member of the team I encountered—from the front office and housekeeping to the restaurant staff —consistently demonstrated genuine warmth, attentiveness, and pride in delivering outstanding service. Their willingness to go above and beyond created a memorable guest experience that reflected the highest standards of hospitality.
Breakfast offered an excellent selection of both local Sri Lankan favourites and international dishes, all fresh, beautifully presented, and of exceptional quality. The rooftop facilities and pool also provided a fantastic place to unwind after a busy day while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Colombo.
As someone working within the hospitality industry, I pay close attention to operational standards and guest experience, and I was genuinely impressed by the hotel's attention to detail, cleanliness, service culture, and overall management. It is evident that the team takes great pride in maintaining consistently high standards by its General Manager Mr Kedar.
I would highly recommend NH Hotel Colombo to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Whether you're travelling for business, a holiday, or simply looking for a comfortable and well-managed hotel, this property delivers excellent value, outstanding service, and a memorable stay.
