We had a wonderful and relaxing experience at Koggala Beach Hotel. The beachfront location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the swimming pool and beach area were perfect for relaxing. A special mention to the friendly and helpful staff—they made our stay even more enjoyable with their excellent hospitality.
Overall, it was a memorable experience with great service, beautiful surroundings, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday in Koggala! ❤️🌊

Tired, derelict beach front hotel
A beach front hotel, but that's really the only positive. Feels like a tired, derelict holiday camp, with long corridors of empty rooms. Cleanliness is certainly not up to western standards, with poor attention to detail. Apart from the beach, with sea too rough to swim in, and a small pool, there is nothing else to do locally. It's over a kilometre walk along a busy main road to the nearest local shops (not touristy). Unfortunately I also got food poisoning from prawns from the hotel restaurant.
