Excellent honeymoon hotel
This is an excellent hotel. We went for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were very excited to receive a free room upgrade which was amazing. The pool is delightful, the staff are attentive, friendly and professional, and the views are second to none.
The breakfast was our favourite breakfast of our whole trip, so much variety and all fresh and plentiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Luxury Stay with Spectacular Sea & Galle Fort Views
Our stay at Le Grand Galle was truly exceptional. The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The modern bathroom was elegant and well-stocked with quality amenities, and the linen was fresh, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view overlooking the Indian Ocean and the historic Galle Fort—absolutely stunning from morning to sunset.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, including traditional Sri Lankan dishes as well as international selections. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.
We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cocktail event, which added a special touch to our experience. A heartfelt thank you to the team for upgrading our room to a sea-view room—it made our stay even more memorable.
The staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. We highly recommend Le Grand Galle for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with excellent hospitality, amazing views, and great food.

Close to Galle Fort
This is an ideal location just 5 minutes walk from Galle Fort with ocean views. The generous sized room and verandah overlooked the pool and ocean. The in house restaurant was excellent. The room was serviced twice daily.

Great hotel next to the fort and sea.
Great hotel next to the Dutch fort. Great views of the sea. Free cocktails from 5.30pm to 6.30pm Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Facilities were great. Rooms massive and clean.

Rooms with views
Great hotel. Stunning location with the Fort and the sea in sight. We were upgraded. The staff were lovely. We especially liked the cocktail hour by the pool.
