We had an amazing dining experience at Taj Bentota, all thanks to Chef Jasvir Singh. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. What made our experience even more special was that he went out of his way to prepare customized dishes for us and personally came to our table to check if we were enjoying the meal. His warmth, hospitality, and genuine care made us feel truly valued as guests. It's rare to meet someone so passionate about both food and guest experience. Thank you, Chef, for making our stay even more memorable. We can't wait to visit again!
A Comfortable Stay
Excellent location. Low noise level. Rooms are average. Being old property, cleanliness level needs to be improved. Overall good atmosphere. The service in the Palm Restaurant was excellent and each one deserves appreciation,particularly, special food preferences of our two little ones. In this context,I would like to mention Dileep and G Sarathkumar in the kitchen.

Great indian food
We had an amazing stay at Taj Bentota, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip.
A very special thanks to Chef Dalip Singh. After visiting several 5-star properties across Sri Lanka, we were missing authentic Indian flavours everywhere. Chef Dalip changed that completely! Every meal had the perfect Indian touch, and the food was absolutely delicious. He personally made sure everything was to our liking, and his warmth and care made us feel at home.
A big thank you as well to Dilan and Janitha for their exceptional service. They were always courteous, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their friendly nature.
The hospitality at Taj Bentota was truly outstanding. We left with wonderful memories and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
