A Dream babymoon at Taj Bentota
We stayed at Taj Bentota for 2 nights for our babymoon trip, and it was the best hotel decision we’ve ever made! Apart from the stunning property and beautiful rooms, what truly made the stay worthwhile was the over the top hospitality. Every moment the staff made us feel so welcome, but the standout highlight was the Indian head chef, Mr Dalip Singh. He went above and beyond by tailoring every meal to our personal taste (including my pregnancy aversions) and ensuring we were entirely comfortable. One of the wait staff, Sam, was also highly attentive and accommodating. Thanks to Mr. Dalip’s thoughtful attention to detail, this stay turned out to be the best of our lives! Thank you Taj for making us feel celebrated! Would recommend everyone, especially all my desi peeps, to try and stay here during your Sri Lanka visit.

I had a wonderful stay at the Taj, what really makes the place special is the staff they honestly can’t do enough to make your stay perfect, especially Sam who was my waiter most of the time, he really looked after me. I was surprised when he said he remembered me when I stayed there 13 years ago.

Location was pretty! Atmosphere was also very nice nd rooms were also nice nd staff cleaned up very well. We feel like we were in our home!!! Nd specially I want to tell about the CHEF 🧑🍳 (Mr.DALIPJI) he is very kind to us!! He makes every efforts to feel us good! Nd whatever we want he will always make sure about that!!! Once I just say can u make Panipuri to me??? Nd He was like ofc mam!! Nd the other day he told me to sit nd enjoy the PANIPURI which he made for specially me❤️❤️ Nd the other staff are also veryyy polite with us!! Thank you TAJ for the best bestt experience ❤️
Home away from home
Been a Taj loyalist for a while, and it was nothing but a dream to stay at Taj Ben Tota. It was a perfect relaxing vacation for me. The food here was absolutely amazing from DALIP. He made sure we never missed Home and whenever we did, he brought us all our favourites. His attention and personal care made the stay even more memorable. Will be definitely coming back for chef’s Dal Makhni and Aloo Chaat. Home away from Home indeed.
