A House with Heritage, Storied & Distinctive; Mango House is nestled deep in the South of Mahé. Directly standing on the oceanfront with direct access to Anse Aux Poules Bleues “Aquarium of wonders”. Mango House is a 30-40 minutes distance by car to and from the Seychelles International Airport and approximately 60 minutes from Victoria. A contemporary and intimate retreat, providing the backdrop to multilayered experiences, creative ingenuity, and expansive views enveloped in the rugged nature of the Seychelles.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I went to the Seychelles for my birthday and the first property that I stayed at was the Mango House LXR. This stay was fantastic. From before arriving to my departure, the property was extremely attentive and responsive. This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed for responsiveness. Not one time, did I reach out during my stay, that I didn't receive an actual response from an individual within 2 minutes. Kudos. I stayed at the property for five amazing days.
The breakfast buffet and A la carte menu was expansive and delicious. Service was incredible at Muse. Standouts were many, however, David, Anna, Emma, Mane-Ella made our mornings, relaxed, pleasurable and a great start to the day. Housekeeping was punctual and efficient, including nightly turn down service. We ate dinner on property for four out of the five nights, with my birthday dinner being done with private dining overlooking the pool and bay. I will honestly admit this was probably the worse meal we had. My beef medallions were excellent, however, the starter and salad, was just okay. Dinner at Kokoye was EXCELLENT. The salmon teriyaki was to die for. The octopus and chicken curry at Moutya was flavorable and tasty.
Rachel, Violet and especially Mariam, Front Office Manager were so kind and generous with there time and smiles each morning.
The buggy guys were great.
Overall, this was a memorable stay, with an excellent stay, great location, wonderful service, and delicious cuisine. THANK YOU MANGO for making my birthday memorable.

Food are good as always Staff are nice as usual, especially, Micheal, he serves us very very well, always with his smile. Always grateful to be here
We stayed for 7 nights on a half-board plan.
The resort is located in a beautiful area, away from town and noise (perfect for winding down and relaxing).
Three restaurants are available for dinner : Creole (their curry is a must try), Japanese (amazing wagyu and chicken noodles) and Italian.
Breakfast is served every morning with buffet style completed by an “à la carte” option (Creole Style Kedgeree and French Toasts are our absolute favorites), the staff there is so nice and welcoming (special thanks to Stephanette and Anna for all the great drinks and recommendations as well as the hospitality showed to us every morning).
Our room was clean and housekeeping made sure to keep it that way, passing twice a day to make the bed, open/close the windows, change towels and restock water.
The beds are big and comfortable. The bed curtains add so much to the atmosphere of the room, laying in bed surrounded by them, as if in a dream world, feels magical.
The resort has three different pools and two different private beaches. There are also complimentary kayaks and snorkeling gear available for use.
Complimentary daily activities are organized by the resort. We had a good time at the rum tasting and creole cooking class.
We treated ourselves to a private romantic dinner (the food offered is the same as in the restaurants sadly), couple massage and sushi making class. The sushi making class was definitely our favorite experience, having the hotel’s chef cook (off-menu) dishes for us, catering to our specific taste was sublime. Not to mention that stepping behind the counter to make the sushi ourselves turned out to be a ton of fun.
Overall our experience was amazing, we will definitely come back!
