The Sugar Beach Hotel is set in palatial grounds in Wolmar, Mauritius. Enclosed in its own grove of palm trees, the Sugar Beach Hotel feels wonderfully removed from the rest of the word, but the thriving port of St Louis is close by. Returning guests-3rd visit
Returning guests, 3rd visit to hotel, 6th to Mauritius, already planning to return. Fantastic memories made in a wonderful location, enabled through dedicated staff throughout the hotel special call out to Wasim, Anuradha and Bruno who’s attention to customer experience 10/10. Staff in Buddha Bar serving our large group attentively and with a smile. Stay was on All Inclusive basis excellent value for money food of a high standard my favourite restaurant Buddha bar. We will return soon

Honeymoon Relaxation
We came to sugar beach hotel for the second half of our honeymoon for 10 days of relaxation and it was definitely that. The resort is beautiful with landscapers constantly looking after all the greenery and trees and staff servicing and cleaning each of the pools. The view from all areas of the resort is onto still clear blue ocean and white sand beach including from our sea view room balcony. The hotel was located perfectly for our trips out to the waterfalls and dolphin watching in Tamarind. And the option to park the car in the resort car park made hiring a car to explore the garden easy. Our room was spacious, clean with all modern facilities. Serviced twice a day with fresh towels. Food at the main buffet was exceptional at both breakfast and dinner. We especially appreciated the a la carte style lunches as a switch up from the standard buffet. Drinks were well made and strong with a decent selection for the all inclusive cocktails. We requested drinks that weren't specifically listed on the menu but these were made to our liking and included in our package. Staff were all extremely friendly, nothing was ever too much to ask and members of the beach team put the football on the TV at Le Patio bar for me when I asked. A special mention to Chesley at reception who helped make out final day as smooth as possible with a late checkout due to our nighttime flight. Overall Sugar Beach was excellent for the end of our honeymoon.

Really great resort with a lot going on for families. Amazing beach which feels very safe for children! Beach bar is great. All inclusive very good value. Great food. We did two trips one with the beach crew for snorkeling and one with jph tours for a private lagoon discovery tour where we saw whales, dolphins and a turtle. Hotel was such a great choice and we would definitely recommend and come back! We always found a subbed. Our housekeeping Steven was great and we loved the swan towel he did on our bed! Also a mention to Julianna at reception for helpi by us at check out when our flight was v late at night making our day much better for us as we could keep our room also with our package. Thank you to all hotel staff for making this a great family holiday! I’d say this was one of the best beaches on this side of Mauritius! So picturesque with Le Morne in background!
