Sands Suites Resort and Spa

The hotel is superb - lovely sand beach, beautiful flora, very friendly and competent staff. Rooms are great, clean. The dinner buffet is amazing, every day a new selection. Specially thankful for our waiter Kamlesh, managers Selven and Krishna, as well as the charistmatic entertainment team.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

What really makes this resort stand out is the wide range of complimentary activities. You can use kayaks, windsurfers, and sailing boats directly from the beach, try water skiing, or join a boat trip to the snorkeling spots – all included at no extra cost. For those of us who enjoy staying active and making the most of our holiday, this is absolutely fantastic.

The room was of a very good standard, modern, comfortable, and well maintained. We chose a room on the second floor, which gave us much more privacy on the balcony, and we were very happy with that decision.

Although the resort offers plenty of facilities, it never feels crowded. It’s relatively small, which means there is always plenty of space on the beach, around the pool, in the gym, and in the restaurants. The relaxed atmosphere made the whole stay even more enjoyable.

Another big advantage is that you don’t have to eat at the buffet every evening. The buffet was good and offered plenty of choice, but we especially enjoyed being able to dine in the two smaller à la carte restaurants with their excellent three-course menus. The service was very good, the wine selection was excellent, and the atmosphere in the smaller restaurants was particularly warm and enjoyable. The only minor issue was that the waiters were sometimes a little too quick to clear our plates before we had completely finished.

The location of the hotel was excellent - its located at the end of the road, so its private and secluded. Overall atmosphere is amazing - you can fully relax as personell take care of everything you need. From the first moment we arrived, we were welcomed very warmly by Front Office Manager Mr Krisna. Special thanks to Mr Kamlesh - he was our waiter during dinners and the service was superb! He is kind and welcoming, always there to assist. In addition - Mr Selven took care of us, always being friendly and attentive. Also “beach/pool guys” - Rudy and his team - always welcomes you and offers everything you may need. Another mention goes to entertainment team - Mr Ivanto and his squad made those aqua gym sessions faaar from what you imagine - super energetic and playful, but also gives you effective exercises to remind that this is not a relaxation session 😅 Rooms may be a bit outdated, but they are cleaned very thoroughly, cleaned twice a day. Lots of space and all rooms with a balcony/terrace face the sea! Food - just wow! Every night its different theme buffet and the food is prepared up to highest standards. If you doubt that buffet style catering could dissapoint - these chefs will change your mind. From freshly baked naan breads to fish being grilled before your eyes! 10/10 and you can fully relax, no need to think what/where to eat tonight!
