Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I had a very good stay at this hotel and, personally, I would consider it a five-star experience, even though it is officially a four-star hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, very modern and aesthetically impressive. The whole hotel has a very elegant and luxurious atmosphere, and I was genuinely impressed by how nice it looked.
The check-in and check-out processes were very simple and quick, and the reception staff were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming. In general, all the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful.
The main restaurant was large, spacious and comfortable, with a good variety of food. The selection was satisfactory and there were enough options, although I think the variety could still be improved slightly. The dining area itself was very pleasant, spacious and comfortable. The hotel also has two speciality restaurants, such as an Italian and an Indian restaurant. I enjoyed having these options, although I think having a few more speciality restaurants would make the experience even better.
The rooms were one of my favourite parts of the hotel. They were very beautiful, modern, spacious and extremely comfortable. The beds were large and comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, clean and very pleasant, and the minibar had a good selection of drinks with regular replenishment. The only issue I experienced in the rooms was that, in both rooms we had, the drawers of one of the furniture units were slightly damaged or misaligned, making them quite difficult to open and close. Apart from that, the rooms were excellent.
The swimming pools were also very good. However, during the time of year I visited, the weather was cooler and quite windy, so I think it would be a great improvement if all three pools were heated. The two pools near the reception seemed noticeably warmer than the third pool, although I am not completely sure whether the first two are officially heated. The third pool was considerably colder, and having all three heated during the cooler season would make a big difference.
One thing I did miss was room service, especially breakfast room service. During the colder season, when the weather is windy and cooler, having the possibility of having breakfast in the room would be very convenient, particularly for guests who would like to sleep a little longer or simply enjoy a quieter morning.
The hotel also has beautiful views. One thing to keep in mind is that its location is quite exposed to the wind, so it can feel windier and colder than some other nearby resorts, such as Riu Palace. This is not really a criticism of the hotel, as it is simply a characteristic of its location and something the hotel cannot control.
Overall, I had a very good stay. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, modern, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were fantastic. There are a few small things that could be improved, but honestly, I have very little to complain about. For me, this hotel offers a five-star experience despite being rated as a four-star hotel.
Terrible experience and avoid unless you only care about alcohol. We stayed here and found the overall service and staff to be deeply disappointing, starting with the room which was only barely decent and honestly didn't even feel like a 3-star hotel.
If you are a vegetarian, do not book this place. There is literally nothing fresh for vegetarians and the menu consists entirely of low-quality frozen food. It feels like the entire all-inclusive concept is tailored exclusively for heavy drinkers rather than anyone looking for a decent meal. Room was
To make matters worse, the property fails to deliver on the activities advertised in their app. Every time we tried to book or inquire about something, we were brushed off with excuses like "the staff has left," and the team showed zero willingness to accommodate or make things right.
Given the poor food, unhelpful staff and misleading app features, we wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone especially families or vegetarians.
Was realy Good Experience.Would like to come back again. The Sports Bar was realy good especially the Daikiri Strawberry
This was our second stay at the Riu Turquoise, having first visited back at the beginning of June, and we loved it just as much—if not more! We were there again just last weekend and had another brilliant family getaway.
The Food: The buffet options for lunch and dinner were excellent, with a nice and varied selection every day. We especially loved the sweet treats and desserts on offer! Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of fresh fruits every morning (and the chocolate milkshakes were a big hit!). While the breakfast hot food didn't change much day-to-day, there was enough variety to keep everyone happy. We also loved grabbing snacks at Pepe's during the afternoon—it was perfect for keeping hunger at bay between meals.
Activities & Entertainment: The entertainment was fantastic. The ABBA tribute show on Saturday night was absolutely amazing—a real highlight of our trip! The kids' club was also a huge plus for us; it gave the little one a chance to have fun while we relaxed.
The Staff & Facilities: A special shoutout to Rishab and Leonardo at the lagoon bar, who were just great—always friendly and serving up delicious drinks. The facilities are very good, and we really appreciated the heated outdoor pool, which made swimming so enjoyable even when the weather wasn't scorching. Our room was nice and kept very clean throughout our stay.
It's always a good sign when a resort lives up to your memories, and the Riu Turquoise certainly did. We're already looking forward to our third stay!
The staff were very helpful, specially the front desk (Reception Desk), they just tackle our issues very well.
