Another great holiday
We have just returned from another wonderful holiday at Le Telfair. As always everyone is so welcoming and accommodating our needs. Ashni our host and her team keep everything running smoothly. Le Palmier lunchtime and Ginja evening were particularly good.
I’ve died and gone to heaven
This trip was meant to be a special celebration for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint! My husband and I went for the golf and having stayed a couple of times before in other locations, wanted to return to this resort as a special treat. We had the Goirmet Bliss package which was well worth it. Firstly the staff are all amazing! The long hours they do and they keep on smiling. The food is perfect. You need to vary the restaurants and pick the restaurant of choice depending on what’s on the menu. O Grill, Ginja, Le Palmier are all fantastic - Le Chateau Bel Ombré out of this world. Nothing is too much trouble and if there’s something you want but it’s not on the menu - all you have to do is ask. We had one mix up one evening but as soon as we told our wonderful hostess Ashni, the whole hotel seemed to run around to make sure we had a first class experience. The Cavendish bar staff under management of Nidrish ( I know I’ve spelt that incorrectly) with Sushil and David and others, made us feel like part of their family and we’re already missing them! Ashley at Le Chateau golf club and O Grill bar with all the staff there, also couldn’t do enough for us! So many more and apologies to not name others, I could go on. Suffice to stay we could not have enjoyed it more and normally after 10 days we want to go home but this time we had to force ourselves away! The golf was great btw - ended up playing extra rounds at Le Chateau we enjoyed it so much. La Reserva is tough, really tough and the day we played the wind was definitely not our friend. To sum it up, my husband commented several times “I’ve died and gone to heaven.”

A great hotel with amazing customer service!
A great hotel with an exceptional team. We were in Mauritius for three weeks and spent a week at this hotel. We were there mainly for the golf, the two courses are very good, La Reserve is exceptional and will soon be top 100. There are plenty of other experiences for non golfers too. The hotel is on a shallow and safe beach with lots of water sports available, many of which are included. A special mention to Premi who met us on arrival and was always there to make our stay special, thank you. The rooms are very good and well looked after. The hotel has space for family’s and adults only. The food is good although the service can be slower than you might expect, compared to other hotels. We are planning our trip to Mauritius next year and this hotel will be among those we choose. Keep up the good work!

Paradise does exist!!
Service excellent our host Sharmine was extremely attentive. Check in and check out was flawless. exceptionally clean, the room stewards were excellent. Restaurants especially GINJA superb. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Golf at both Le Chateaux and La Reserve are a paradise for golfers. Total relaxation around the pools and beach. Plenty of watersports suitable for everyone.
If you go please say hello to Garfield the cat, he loves the smoked fish for breakfast. Returning again next year, already booked.
