The Veranda Grand Baie is nestled among the palm trees in tropical gardens. Inside, the lovely Creole style gives it a colourful, friendly feel, with some attractive soft furnishings and distinctive design touches.
The main restaurant offers a unique and interactive dining experience overlooking a turquoise lagoon. Served as a buffet, the dishes offered feature international specialties. If you are looking to celebrate or treat yourself to something a bit different then the beach restaurant offers an exceptional a la carte menu featuring the seafood of our lagoons (at a fee).
There are pleasant views over the gardens from your very own balcony or terrace, and all 95 rooms come with air conditioning, as well as flat screen television, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and mini-bar.
From the hotel it's just a stroll to the soft white sand of the beach. And just a few minutes into the heart of the Grand Baie resort - with its long bay and soft, sandy shore line.
This is a great place to enjoy some exhilarating water action and there are a freat selection of watersports available, including snorkelling, paddle boarding, and pedal boats.. all free of charge! Some watersports do occur a fee, these include scuba diving, fishing, kite surfing and catamaran cruises. Or why not simply relax at one of the beautiful hotel swimming pools? And if it's relaxation you want, you have to visit the spa, sauna and steam room, with its incredible outdoor Jacuzzi.
There's plenty for you to explore in and around Grand Baie and you are within walking distance from restaurants, shops and some excellent night life.

Brilliant stay
After writing a review very early in my holiday were I was really pleased with everything except the food can I just say the management & staff were very professional & spoke to us regarding this & can I say all the management & staff went out of there way to make sure it was all good making our stay at the veranda Grand-Baie memorable from the room pool bars all excellent service & will definitely be returning here thank you to ludovic & all your staff for everything you did for us
Verandah Grand Baie, Mauritius is amazing
The most wonderful holiday with our family from Australia and South Africa - all joining for a reunion together. We have loved staying here at Verandah! Everything had been perfect. The staff here have been absolutely amazing!! Art class with Roukaya 🎨 Noella our beautiful breakfast chef 🥐 Curpen is a fantastic host / manager / matre d 🏨 Spa girls are all fantastic, esp Cloe! 💋 Ajay Kiki has looked after us with drinks 🍹 Dariel in the dining room made us delicious afternoon crepes & juices 🥞 The reception staff are wonderful especially Emily 🛎️ Vimir has looked after our room & laundry every day 🧺 Ajay the driver / taxi is so fantastic! He’s taken us to dinner / for walks / bakery / coffee ☕️

A very happy and enjoyable stay x
We have had the most wonderful holiday is this very special place . We are here celebrating a sibling reunion from South African and Australian . We had wonderful service from Curpen( assistant manager) and seems be involved in most sections of the hotel. We loved Roukaya’ s painting lesson and she is very been a large part of the enjoyment of our stay . Emily was very good when we arrived in making us feel welcome . Ajaycoco has also been ver helpful while we are on the beach . AJ the taxi driver is always prompt and efficient . A very happy stay in the Veranda grand Baie . I would highly recommend the hotel to all my friends x
Totally recommend this hotel
The hotel was absolutely amazing, the staff were really friendly and helpful and tried to accommodate your needs before you even knew you had them. However if there was anything pacific you wanted or any help they would be bend over backwards to make sure you stay was an amazing one. Chloe was one of the main people we spoke to in the hotel and she was amazing along with the bar staff, spa facilities and staff all the way down to the cleaning staff Hotel was clean well equipped and in a great location for exploring the whole bay We did bread and breakfast, which was amazing as we had loads of time to explore the amazing island and the breakfast buffet especially the lovely omelettelady was amazing
