Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury

I could not have been more excited to be back at the Royal Palm once again, my last visit was 2022. Since 2012 it's the only hotel i go to when in Mauritius and this visit came with a big surprise. The management upgraded us from the Junior Suite to the Palm Suite ❤️ It was breathtaking. Every room was flawless and spacious.
They kept our room immaculate morning and evening. And the little details like the sleep mists on our pillows to the selection at the minibar and the tropical fruits every day was a delight. The views from our terraces of the garden to the heated pools and the beach was so pretty and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. This serenity and luxury continued to the spa and the boutique. Its truly value for money because i felt spoilt and pampered. All the daily free activities available from morning to sunset was just wonderful which included meditation, yoga and many more, was such a treat. We also enjoyed a variety of different meals from the restaurants at the hotel. And of course the location of the hotel to Grand Baie just a few minutes away is really great, where we could enjoy some local culture, visit a bazaar and the mall and enjoy the energy of the village.
Thank you so very much to the staff and management of Royal Palm. You made our stay very special and unforgettable. We had the time of our lives.

From the beginning, the welcome was quite thoughtful; my wife was provided with flowers and we were offered some complimentary champagne.

The room was quite spacious. We had ample room to keep our luggage and relax around the room and terrace. The bathrooms were well equipped with bathtub and hot water all day long.

The staff often checks in on us even as we are lounging in common areas. We never felt unattended to during our stay.

Staff cleans the room multiple times a day so there is never a moment where the room feels like its a mess.

The spa service was flawless and the staff even offered us a custom massage based on our needs.

Overall, the hotel is very detail oriented and definitely feels luxurious; after all, it is quite a pricy hotel but definitely worth it.

Lastly, I would like to thank the hotel for quickly attending to my request replacing the boiler with haste so that I could enjoy an afternoon tea with my wife.

Our stay at the Royal Palm could not have been better. The choice of this hotel has been the absolutely right decision! First of all, the service provided by the staff during our stay of 16 days was absolutely outstanding. The whole hotel construction with its clear direction from every angle towards the wide ocean and wonderful sunsets, the equipment (mixture out of classy and modern style) and even the impressive flower arrangements were immaculate. Our suite was well designed with a very comfortable bed and all you might need for relaxation and well-being. And the silence during night and in the morning hours was also perceived by us as a big advantage of this hotel. The fine sandy beach was regularly and well maintained, swimming in the ocean was possible without bathing shoes which was a wonderful experience! Not to forget about the multitude of complimentary water activities offered to the guests. All meals and drinks were delicious and exquisite, especially the champagne, the wines recommended by a sommelière and the cocktails which were perfectly mixed in the open air bar, the delicious pieces from the in-house confectionery and the sophisticated cuisine of the new Asian Restaurant. In sum, it has been an unforgettable time for us at the Royal Palm.
